Finally got around getting the transmission attached to the engine and well... the drivetrain alignment is off center.. I swear its one step forward and 2 steps backwards every time lol.. New engine arms soon!

Hey bro, Don't be disheartened this is the nature of the project car especially engine swaps. I'm doing a V8 e30 swap on my driveway. It's been a long term project. I went through 2 different engine mounts. Have the same gearbox mine has broken mounting points though. I'm using subframe spacers. Mine doesn't run currently cranks bit doesn't fire. 🔥 I had to lever the motor over to bolt in but that could have been the angle on my driveway. Stay positive 💪

Probably one of the cleanest e90 build, I’ll sure miss it but I’m excited for the “bagged e30”. 😬

Thanks for showing the troubles and being real. I have an e38 donor that I am hoping to drop in my e34 530i 5spd. Keep the videos coming, I am interested to know what needs to be done to hook up the obd2 and deal with my ews.

Maybe you van compare the engine arms with the ones garagistic or 300mm.de supplies and check for differences. Keep up the good work..! it aint easy now.. maybe keep thinking about the v8 grawl you'll be rewarded with when it's done 😃

jorge bierkens Yeah garagistic is about an hour away from me, so I’m gonna take them and compare both together. Hope this is the issue !

Is there a difference in M62 and N62 V8s cause I’ve had an N62 sitting in my yard and might use you’re platform to fit it in my e46

So you are using a custom harness? OBD1? Or modifying the m62 obd2 harness?

I saw you did an lci conversion for your e90, did you just change the hood and grilles? Or did you need to buy a new bumper too

Hey bro, I’m having the same issue with my Garagistic mount arms. I bought them years ago but finally getting around to doing the swap now. Can you elaborate on what you were able to find out?

Yeah pretty much fuck garagistic, their products always come with some sort of fitment issues, others on fb groups can vouch as well. I got some new mounts from Lown performance and the driveline sits perfect!

@@esgworks Ah, shitty deal. Was gonna buy a body mount shifter from them as well but now I’m not so sure. Thanks for the lead on the Lown mounts, although I’ll probably end up modifying the Garagistic ones to mitigate my losses. Not too pleased about it though.
