Great sniper vechicle. One of the best B.R. 5.0 guns in the game hands down. If you can avoid oponents hiting your Tiger II sized ass, you are good to go.

They buffed its autoloader refill speed to be good but reverted the buff quickly

I've gotten a few kills with the hull 37mm. Usually on M18s or other light vehicles. Also works as a fake-out shot for tricking enemies to come out of cover.

one of my favourite tanks in the game, not because its good, but because its increadibly fun for me to play, and because the autoloader fits very well with my play style. its decemtly mobile, and the height allows you to shoot over some rather unlikely cover.

I absolutely love the Chi To Late (4.7 I think), basically a smaller and better armored Chi Ri

You should do a video on the swedish delat torn because it also has a auto loader, and it is a 5.0 with a very similar round to this tank, and it has a 2.8 second reload and its ready rack size is double that of this tank. And after its ready rack is empty it still had a fast reload.

The 37mm needs a buff honestly. Aside from that a Fun fact, the Type-5 Ho-Ri in its model has a copy and paste of the autoloader from the Chi-Ri. Yet is not used in the game.

This tank is my absolute favorite. easy to play effectively, the autoloader comes in handy for a follow up shot, and the mobility is actually pretty decent, and the 75 is nice and punchy. That and it looks pretty dope. And yes you can kill light Targets with the secondary 37mm.

While i was going trough jappannese tech tree it was one of the favorites. i would even say it is one of the favorites overall, this 3s nuke cannon is just too good. The 37mm gun was only usefull when i shot at my oponent and he got fooled into thinking that i shot the main gun, but it dont works for closer distances, because people will see which gun you shot.

I hope you make a video on the ST-A 3 aswell, it is basically the cold war version of the Chi-Ri.

Play chi-nu II a couple dozens of times, and you'll wont be thinking its slow Also, little gun can be used as distcraction, without risking main gun shot (like on 2:01)

If you can get a good spot behind enemy lines in Chi-Ri II then you can be cheery too.

How did this guy see this tank as ordinary, this may just be one of the most unusual tank ive ever seen

like with the Maus i would use the 37mm gun to track enemys or take out their guns or even kill light targets

I’ve haven’t used this tank yet but ive seen Maus players use there second gun to draw out a enemy thinking they just wasted a shell and have to reload correct me if I’m wrong though

Honestly, the change of the 2 stage ammo used be faster still compared to other tanks as if an auto I think it was around 5 seconds but it I think it was a recent change where it got higher. But the 37mm gun it is useless but I have been getting more kills recently than before with it if I have had the chance. Plus it has been funny to see that on the kill info.

I think this tank is pretty underrated, in the right hands it can be a killing machine on the battlefield

i remember one time where the 37mm was usefull, was against a M18, he was showing side, could have killed him, *but that gun was so useless i forgot i had it until too late* X)

my most favourite Japanese tank hands down all these blocky 1945 tanks from japan are real fun but a bit overtiered especially the CHi-To´s
