This song still remains so underrated. The voiceacting is superb and the fact that they're singing makes it even better. The composition is amazing and the rhymes are on point, I wish more MLP fans knew about this song. When Sherclop was writing this song, he probably got to that bit of the melody, and wrote the notes that you hear, then realized that it shares the same melody (and key) as the a bit from Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night'. He might have had another idea for lyrics there, but decided to make a joke about how similar the two songs are, and used that line.

Fun fact, the last two lines are pretty much directly lifted from Les Miserables. They're the last two lines of I Dreamed A Dream, to be more specific. Also, it might just be a coincidence, but the Voulez Vouz line might be a shout-out to the ABBA song of the same name. "Since we're not related it'll be okay..." - I mean, they ARE related in the show, but I guess not in Witchcraft. So, technically yeah, I guess.
