They never gave up / they never let down their fans and the team. This current United lot just don’t play for the badge. You don’t play well when things r good, you play well always - always for United ! They just don’t care - it used to hurt losing as a United fan, nowadays, it’s just another weekend.

Newcastle are an incredibly hard working team to a man. Every single one of them chases every ball every single time. That high tempo and relentless energy is why they are doing so well under Howe. Despite having more than a full squad worth of injuries and also having played mid week. But playing Man U the other night really demonstrated the contrasting mentality of both teams. One team wants to win and go places, and probably will. The other team is Manchester United.

No argument from me. Rashford is complacent because he knows his job is not under fire. Instead they will get rid of the manager first sadly. And we've had some great managers since SAF. He's just coasting. And if he has a bad season he will make up for it in the next one so that we quickly forget how shocking he is. 2 goals in 14 PL appearances is embarrassing. Rashford isn't the only one but I think it's clear he doesn't have the mental strength to play for Utd. He's a passenger when things get tough and that's being kind. Doesn't matter about your confidence, off field issues. You're a professional player and there's no excuse under the sun for putting in as little effort as he has been for a lot of this season, not just against Newcastle. He's ok when the team plays well and other players are leading the way but he's not a leader by example. I've personally seen enough of him to think it's best he leaves the club and finds a career somewhere else where there's no pressure on him. He's not cut out for Utd when he's so often off the boil. His form last season was relatively short lived and it was only goals. He's not a figher or a leader

Martinez aside, none of them have any mental strength. The entire squad needs to be scrapped, this manager may not be the answer but no manager can work with players that crumble under every setback and act out when things don't go their way. It's a cultural problem coupled with fragmented and poor recruitment. Changing manager and letting him over spend for 2 windows is not the answer and they keep repeating the cycle. The model needs to change to a director hierarchy and then they can identify the right manager with the style they want and ensure the squad is overhauled beyond a brief tenure.

he's never been good enough tbh. low football iq, low work rate, bad heading, suspect finishing and worst of all he is very inconsistent. just a streaky player with bad form outweighting the good. Man like Roy is still seriously in love with his team. I know it is difficult for him to see how this recent set of players, owners and management bath in mediocrity. The standards have really, really fallen. On Rashy, I have watched him closely, he looks like he doesn't give a damn about the club & his commitments right now.

All he cares about is the $$$ - like most of our over rated players … the difference against New castle was easy to spot - it was all cultural and behavioural: they had the desire and belief. Man utd were hopeful and hopeless all in the same sentence. No desire, no heart. To last to every second ball tells you something.

Nunez is a great example, yes hes missed a lot of chances and his main job is to be the goal scorer, but he doesnt stop running, he plays his heart out every game and thats why the fans love him and back him 100%. Rashford just doesnt do the work.

Micah and his feminist, simping, new age too much oestrogen in his drinks, touchie feelie pseudo waffle, it's clear the difference between real old school masculine men and new age sissies all bothered about people's feelings too much like females and pandering and enabling language, micah is a funny guy, good sense of humour but he's too emasculated. The way these new age players are raised is too effeminate, weak, passive and have no masculine fortitude and these players with that mindset infect other players like a virus and it spreads taking real traditional masculinity out of the game. Grow a pair micah the rest of the new age sissies.

Keane was a different breed, if someone one wasn't putting in a shift or falling below the standards, they would get their ass kicked, him giving Andy Cole a right bollocking in the 96 FA cup final when Cole lost the ball and Collymore nearly scored was a prime example. There is no one like that at United anymore.

And that's why I say Stevie G surpasses all other midfielders in premier league era, he literally dragged Liverpool, made them somewhat competitive for 15 years. Without him coming into the team in the late 90s, Liverpool in the 2000s would have slipped away to mid table obsecurity. There would have been no alonsos and Torres's, or Suarez's.

There was a short period during which Gerrard was well surrounded, actually. I mean those 2 years when McAllister was at the club and the squad was going from strength to strength. For some reason Houllier decided to break it all up in the summer of 2002 with his Ligue 1 signings.

I agree with jamie and keane. It's not about the lack of form, his body language tells the whole story. Last season weghorst didn't score goals but his work ethic was what we loved the most about him, but now if u ask most of the United fans who they would rather have in the squad, answer would be weghorst.😂

Rashford doesn’t have enough technically to maintain consistency, that’s why he has only had 3 seasons for United where he’s scored more than 20 goals and his lowest output for a season is 5. They talk about Martial not trying, with all the injuries martial has had and a loan spell, he’s managed 90 goals in 316 appearances for Man Utd in his career, Rashford who been able to stay mostly fit throughout his senior career and never had loan spell elsewhere has 125 goals in 377 appearances, he has made 61 more appearances and only managed 35 more goals than martial. But for some reason Martial doesn’t try and don’t care apparently 👀

4:22 Jamie mentioned Son, rest of the cast just nodded. He is a leader and a good example for the young players. You know why Talented young English players washed out so early? Because of the environment that around them, overrates, overpraises by media, big checks, tolerates by English referees, you just spoils them to the core.

I hated Keane as a player (i'm a Liverpool supporter), but respected him as he iaid it all on the line come match day and those who played alongside him knew they had a fighter in the team. It’s the lack of effort that’s criminal. You may not like the position you’re being played in, the coaching staff you’re playing under or even the club you’re playing for, but you still play for the opportunity you’ve been given, for the fans who buy the extortionate tickets, buy the expensive shirt with your name on it and cheer you on, the fans that would give up anything for that opportunity, even just for one night and they’d do it without the massive wage, just chasing that experience.

no you do it for yourself not for fans who love you when you do well and throw you to the wolves when you lose. That said effort is minimum requirement. BUT in life you can try too hard. Messi at the wc walked more than anybody.
@BloodRedLFC
@BloodRedLFC 4 ай бұрын
@@sachinthakkar4131 Can't use Messi as a reference here. Ultimately, the team setup & strategy play a huge part. Messi is the best attacker/playmaker in Argentina team, but he's 35. The team is built around him, so all other 9 outfield players ran, defend and press in his absence, so that when there's turnover Messi will be at his optimum fitness to run the game. For Rashford, he is not at that Messi level and doesn't have the luxury of good players in his team to do the same defending and pressing in his absence, so he MUST be part of the team to defend & press.

Rashford’s basically a one trick pony. When his team are in transition he can run at defenders at pace and go both ways. Other than that there’s not much to his game especially against defences that play deeper. There’s no excuse for his attitude though.

Rashford 26 thinking he's still 18. Years back, when he was scoring but putting up crappy performances for 89 mins, people were using his goals as excuse, comparing him to Mbappe, I saw the bs. Now they're moaning. When fans come up with that nonsense about a player ''oh he's still young'' like he'll magically become class with age but no signs of improvement...🤦‍♂.

Would love to see Roy invited to be a consultant at United on a short term basis purely to galvanize the team. Tactics and team selection are down to the manager but TH just doesn’t seem to have the chops to motivate the players. Roy’s track record suggests he’s not much of a coach but in terms of setting standards and inspiring others to take responsibility for living up to them, I think he could be second to none.

Nobody is expecting Rashford to drag other players up… they’re expecting him to sort himself out so he looks like he’s worth 10% of his £375,000 a week salary. Man United have chained themselves to Rashford, a bang average (if that) player giving him silly money because his “brand” is important to them, not his footballing ability… well you reap what you sew! 👍
