mj897 Quran is the Proof of God. Jews believe in One God Christians believe in trinity, Muslims believe in One God and Muhammed (saw) is the final Messenger. Jews and Christians dont have their books unaltered and unchanged. Their books are full of self contradictions. Quran is unaltered and unchanged and its gonna remain that way.

I am a christian who is self taught I don't trust any church because I can't be sure if they are teaching the truth as in the bible so all I have is my hope that God is helping guide me to understand but to be on the safe side I've just bought a Quran to read too

i converted to islam from Judaism, it's truly the only way to the creator, its soo clear, even with my past research, know that prophet Mohammad in the oldest scriptures known to man , his name is there, and he was prophesied, many, many times, but my anncesestors did the most wicked thing ever by trying to rewrite the bible and the Torah, i pray to allah to guide my Israelites brother's to get back to allah, even in the hidden history or lost history, we know 70% of the biblical Israelites converted to islam during the rise of islam, thanks to allah. I have researched all 3 Abrahamic Religions and found Islam to be the True Religion of God. As for Judaism it is all about the Chosen People and is almost racist as you cannot be a Jew unless you are descended from one of the Twelve Children of Israel. Judaism fails to satisfy the essential criteria of a religion by requiring external obedience to moral laws, having a secular focus, and lacking a concern for immortality. Furthermore Judaism also lacks a belief in an afterlife which is actually necessary for human ethical behavior in this life. And as for Christianity it is an almost idolatrous religion as they lack the principle of the One, True God with no partners. Christians had to follow One God, but they have made God multiple, not singular. And not to mention many of the internal consistencies and errors contained within the Bible. Many Christians try to combat this problem by selectively interpreting each verse according to the context of the verse, but critics argue that the selective invocation of portions of the Old Testament is hypocritical, particularly when those portions endorse hostility towards women and homosexuals, when other portions are considered obsolete. There are also hundreds of versions of the Bible, whereas only one version of the Quran. This is the one of the many reasons why I chose to reject Christianity. And the reason why I chose Islam is because in the Old Testament it is mentioned: "God said to Moses, on whom be peace: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.” (The Holy Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18). The prophet described in the above verse must have the following three characteristics: 1. He will be like Moses. 2. He will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites(Muhammad SAW was an Arab). 3. God will put His words in the mouth of that prophet and he will declare what God commanded him. CONCLUSION: Muhammad was the Chosen One

Now this person will really be tested. Right after I became Muslim, I began to be tested hard. The first test is getting through the people who believe Islam is bad. They will be against him and he will have a very hard time with family. If David passes those tests he will learn a lot and become a good Muslim inshaAllah.

As Criminal ,Get ye apart this Day! 60 "Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?- 60. Did I[Allah] not covenant with you, O Children of Adam, that you shall not serve the devil? That he is your sworn enemy? 61. And that you shall serve,[ worship] Me?[Allah] This is a straight path. 62. He[Satan] has misled a great multitude of you. Did you not understand? 63. This is Hellfire, which you were promised. 64. Roast in it today, because you persistently disbelieved. 65. On this Day [on day of judgement], We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to everything they had done. 66. If We will, We can blind their eyes as they rush towards the path-but how will they see? 67. And if We will, We can cripple them in their place; so they can neither move forward, nor go back.

I reverted two weeks ago and I have already and am still facing hurdles and challenges. But I have had more peace of mind within these two weeks than in 38 years of Christianity which clearly didn't work out for me. Subhanallah..i question my lack of ability to salah In Arabic and feel at times my prayers are empty and non valid due to this..i feel quite alone to be honest as people around me don't get why I reverted etc..but I still have faith that Allah swt will guide me. I feel a bit torn at this moment in time but my decision was the best I've ever made...ALLAHU AKHBAR

May Allah bless you brother. Prophet Mohammad PBUH said that any hardship a believer faces no matter how small even if a thorn hurts him, he will be granted Ajer (reward). Patience is mentioned many time in the Quran and those who are patient are rewarded in the Jannah. We your brothers pray for you and ask Allah to aid you. Remember the first Muslims in Makkah they were persecuted, tortured and killed but still held to Islam. I wish to see you in Jannah.

I think it's important to always tell reverts that all their sins are erased and forgiven after taking shahadah. Maybe for this young brother it's not the most important thing to know but especially people that are older should be reassured that they have now a clean slate and are as sinless as a new born baby and they now just have to try their best to keep it up and that Allah always forgives as long as you ask for forgiveness sincerely. I was 19 when I became Muslim and one of my biggest motivation going forward in life as a better person was knowing that I have a new beginning without sins.

@@mts5217 I understand your confusion but no one said he must change his name, it's just that Dawud is the Quranic translation of the name David which is a name of hebrew origin (the correct original pronounciation is probably Da-veed as I believe they pronounce it in hebrew). So basically, it's the same name just a different translation.

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا And the earth discharges its burdens وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا That Day, it will report its news بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا Because your Lord has commanded it. يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.

Sunni= a man who ascribes to the sunnah of the prophet (salallahu alayhi wasallam) and the Quran all upon the understanding of our righteous predecessors (salaf). The first 3 generations of Muslims. You can also use the word "athari", "salafi", "ahlul hadeeth", these are all appropriate words with the same meaning.
