Honey is looking so amazing from what she was like when you got her. I'm surprised that she is that old. At that age, she is probably pretty set in her ways and would be hard to break compared to a young horse. Maybe you could find someone willing to work with her one on one, as well as give her a loving home. Her color is beyond beautiful. Gold 66 will always have a special place in my heart. If I was 30 years younger and in great physical shape I would love to own any of the horses you rescue. I know the loving care you show them is what makes them so awesome. I will just have to settle for watching you have all the fun. 😂

Hawks are afraid of the stainless steel windmills or wind chimes. Anything that that can move and reflect light.

I do look forward to seeing baby goats on the farm. I am glad Mareen has had a wonderful stay with you this year. It has been fun watching and learning from her. 💖 Honey is turning out to be a sweet little mare, but yes, the proper training will help her to thrive. Blake would have loved working with her, but I don't expect you to keep her that long. There are other horses that need training and rehabilitation. I do know you will only let her go to the best home possible. 💖💖💖

We put a red scrunchie on the water faucet. When we fill tanks, we put the schrunchie on our wrist. Reminds us to turn water off after chores. Then replace schrunchie on faucet for next time 👍 bright colored large rubber band works same way

You'd hear the coyote Ruckus.. Chicken halks are fast. Try a chicken tractor, for day time grazing or to clear a garden patch.... light weight movable, dyi from what you got on the farm. I would recommend housing the chickens at night.. just saying 💕🌴🤠 Yeah momma goat and honey is amazing.. well all the horses and dogs and cats and turtles 😂

Honey is beautiful! Hawks are usually the worst in the spring when fledging. The youngsters find chicks to be the easiest pray! Once they learn this, you will have a season of hawks feeding on your tidbits until they completely mature and are driven off by the parents. The parents are struggling to feed the babes in the nest before they fledge also. If your chickens are put in Fort Knox while they are little, it is safest. Lock them all up for their early growing stage. You know the predators will keep returning until the pray runs out! Every dang predator loves baby chicks. They are the easiest pray. Snakes can get them at night when under the hen on the ground. Feral cats, foxes, mink, weasels, coyotes, etc. will keep returning till the source becomes scarce. You have been lucky in the past but now all the predators are onto you. They know you have the Farm on Rt. 66 smorgasbord.

If you get big chickens the hawks won't go for them. Jersey Giants are good. I have some bantams that the hawks very rarely ever get, because they are very alert and spooky. They are black breasted red old English.( they eat lots to ticks also).
