MTW created this amazing hydraulic attachment for all sizes of skid steers. I purchased their smallest version the PH148H with Rotary Tool System. This soil conditioner can transform into a broom and tiller as well! I have the tiller and power rake(soil conditioner) attachments. The torque on this attachment is unbelievable. Since buying I have tilled gardens, power raked driveways, busted thru super tough sod and tilled soil that's been under a parking lot for 60 years(super tough)!
I am not endorsed by MTW in any way. I purchased this attachment after a lot of research online. I tested a few in person but unfortunately with most attachments it's hard to demo them. I did have an issue with the bearings at first but MTW since new bearings next day to fix the problem. Excellent customer service amd hope to enjoy this attachment for a long time!

Around here, that tiller would have chewed up some TV cable because they are super shallow. I noticed the pedestals across the driveway. Nice video. Just subscribed.

Awesome attachment man! Question, say the homeowner just poured new concrete driveway and sidewalks, would you station that old sod/soil somewhere else besides the driveway?

Yes. Most likely on the street. I have run into that before. But every job is different with how to move/station materials

Another great video. I’ve been going back and watching all your previous video and I find them very interesting. I have a couple of questions about the Vermee. How long have you had it? How many hours do you have on it? Has it been a reliable machine and would you buy the same machine again?

What a powerful attachment.... should make a lot of your jobs easier/faster and possibly open up several more revenue sources for you in the late summer/ fall for food plots and yard makeovers and in the spring for food garden prep.,etc

Nice work as always John! I like the new toy! I have a quick attach power rake, which is direct drive, and am happy with it.. but the ability to run other tools on that is pretty awesome! What was the additional cost for the tiller, and how heavy is the rake drum to remove? Thanks! Great work as always!

Tiller was another grand. But within the 10k. The rake and tiller both way the same roughly. But not sure on exact weight

I know. The manufacturer watched the video and said they are trimming the soil guard 1" to accomadte not removing it while using the tiller. I haven't taken the time trim it yet.

They are plenty proud of that tool, how many times have u used it and any repairs so far? Do u recommend?

Great tool! I don't use every day, maybe 2-3 times a week but typically in gravel/stone driveways. I do run it pretty hard and it has done well over the last year. They do have an odd interval for greasing bearings. They are sealed so it's every 120 hours or 3 months. I am used greasing the bearings every time I use it. But so far it runs like a champ. You need to grease the spindles each time you change switch the rake to tiller and back. I'll do a video soon of having it for a year to talk about these updates! Their customer service is unparalleled though. To me that is worth every penny!

I like the idea of being able to swap out the power rake to a tiller or broom. Was there a price difference between the replaceable teeth and non replaceable teeth options and do remember approximately how much?

Yes. Replaceable teeth were about 500 more but the whole tooth plus peg it was on is longer. So much more aggressive.

Awesome attachment! I'm going to look at them when I buy my next one. I have a Bobcat brand currently and its a direct drive and I HATE it. the direct drive sticks out the side and has a skid plate below it and it turns into a dirt pusher the whole time. It has to be on the inside of the driveway or it scraps the lawn and make a massive mess. I would never buy a direct drive ever again. This doesnt have gauge wheels out front. how do you feel about not having them?

Just go out every day and work hard and do your very best on every job. I've tried advertising, Angie's list, cold calls, yard signs, etc...My best advertising is word of mouth from a satisfied customer!

As soon as I use tools that consume hydraulic flow, my s925tx overheats, you never have any problems? vermeer advised me to change the radiator to a more efficient one.

My bobcat mt55 also, i found if i clean/rinse radiator and use rotary attachment on lower rpm it does not overheat.

I have a Toro Dingo TX525 the radiator and hydraulic cooling radiator are very close together and debris gets stuck in between the two, I usually have to take the two radiators apart to clear the matted debris stuck in between the two radiators about 3 or 4 times a year.
