Watch the film...for sheer entertainment, production values and screen writing, it can't be beaten....from start to finish, this crazy, happy ride is mesmeric, compelling...yes, and gorgeous as well. You will not tire of repeated watching. Feeling sad?; watch it.....feeling lonely?; watch it again!....feeling happy not lonely?; watch it yet again!!

I've never witnessed an audience laughing so hard as they did when Winters destroyed Ray & Irwin's Garage. It was total pandemonium in a huge, totally packed theater in its 1963 first run.

Love the Beech-18 flying through the billboard. Even though it was actually made from balsawood, it was still enough to damage the aircraft, failing an engine and cracking the extra windshield they had installed. Read about it in a book on Hollywood stunt flying..

I saw this at The Ritz in Edgware, Nth London when it was first released, the whole cinema was in fits of laughter throughout th film. My side hurts when it finished. Brilliant film that my wife hates; women!!!

I saw this with both my late Parents about 1963/4 at the Glasgow Colliusem with the Cinerama screen the Colly was a huge picture house and i remember where the first part of the ends , then the interval it starts when the couple are trapped in the store and he gets some dnyamite and it turns blows up half the b uilding . This was a time when the America as a nation could send its self up all star cast and real stunts
