I don't think it's broken, I think they are using it as intended. They want people to think it's just glitches and anomalies but it isn't. They are saving millions of dollars by shutting people down on this demonitization, and yet they are still getting everyone driven to their site and original content is being uploaded to their site for totally free since someone can't monetize it. I don't think it's even a political thing, I think this is pure greed and people just haven't figured out yet how they're being cheated deliberately.

Chartreux The way I understand it is that a portion of the monthly subcription fee (around 5.00 or so?) is divided between all the channels you watch. For example, say you watch 3 ROTW videos and 2 Pewdiepie videos in a given month. ROTW would get 3 dollars, pewdiepie would get 2. Creators still get paid by youtube red even if their videos are demonetized.

I can understand if someone like Pewdepie, iDubbbz, etc.. who make questionable content gets demonetized, but a guy that does food reviews and talks about shortwave channels it's quite idiotic. KZfaq has removed all incentives for content creators to put out genuine quality content. If KZfaq doesn't change this regressive policies we won't have a diverse array of content anymore, it is really heartbreaking to see such a nice guy like Reviewbrah get hit by the demonetization hammer.

YOU, ReviewBrah, by your hundreds of hours of work, your charisma, your dedication, and desire to share quality plain spoken reviews grew this audience FOR KZfaq. You made this community of 446K subscribers for them. We are ready to watch ads in exchange for your content. But KZfaq's mismanagement is literally starving you of your ability to create content for them. Whoever at KZfaq is managing this demonetization "strategy" has made a great mess of things. Reviewbrah should honestly be one of the highest payed you tubers not only because he's a nice person but because he never uses click bait or does unnecessary actions for views. He's a legitimate wholesome youtuber and he's getting treated extremely unfairly. Way to go youtube.. way to run your platform.

I always keep the phrase "memento mori" in my mind, remember your mortality. I think about it every time I leave home. People think it's such a depressing thought to have on your mind, but to me it gives the perspective you mention, it gives reason. It even gives freedom in some ways.

Dude...I've watched you from the beginning...I've never posted. You just nailed it. Its not only food reviews they are "censoring". KZfaq is trying to make us all think alike. You didn't start the channel expecting money from it, you did it because you wanted to. However, everyone needs money to survive. I really hope you can continue making vids and figure out the financial situation so we both get what we want. I would think that your content deserves to be fully monetized - hopefully Google and KZfaq can get their heads out of their butts and pay this man.

My grandma has cancer in her bladder that has spread to her lungs and is expected to pass in December and I’ve cried every night but lately since I’ve found your channel I watch it at night to fall asleep ( sounds weird but quite calming) it has really help keep my mind off of it
