Pondy's story is like the opposite of Cricket's haha. With Cricket, the gang is completely responsible for his downfall and going off the rails. With Pondy, he's just the coolest.

I genuinely think Bill Ponderosa, and the any Ponderosa-related story is dumb. It's part of the erosion and decline of the show.

@@TheBlarggle Nah, some of the best stand-out moments are from Pondy episodes. The champagne balloon thing from this episode, the Frank POV shot from the episode OP is referencing, the whole Ponderosa wedding massacre episode, etc.

I love it when Charlie is the smart one in a scene, especially when he's paired with Mac. His reactions to Mac's deluded comments about his relationship with his dad are hilarious.

Sadly, you can take out an insurance policy on pretty much anyone. Several companies got caught doing so on their employees. It's called a Dead Peasant Policy.

i just love how they won't accept reality... all of them are in constant denial. Be it charly with reading, lawyering and stuff, be it dennis with his ego... or here we saw it with mac again. The show really executes this well.

This makes no sense. It's almost always the opposite. The gang almost never face real consequences for their actions and the innocent almost always suffer for them.

For me, there were still good moments in S11-13, but the ratio definitely shifts after S10.

@@wvu05 I will say Dennis and Mac move to the suburbs is an all time episode. But the later seasons are really hit or miss.

@@grant9872 Indeed. Making Dennis Reynolds a Murderer was also very good, but even seeing a long awaited payoff in S16 didn't feel worth it.
