So many subtle things in this show that are absolutely hilarious such as when Dee is in the process of becoming a surrogate, and when she goes in the pool the first time she goes to do a jack knife and instead does an insane belly flop right wjere the baby would be😂🤣😂🤣…also when she makes the chart of baby deals trying to bargain baby prices which is absurdly funny…this show is too much😂🤣

You were correct! 2008 was the mortgage crisis and recession, this episode came out a year or two afterwards.

Whenever your done with the show if you ever choose to go back and rewatch episodes I promise you’ll appriciate em even more. You’ll catch little things you didnt see the first time and there will be things you find more funny the second time around. As you continue with the show the characters grow on you so when you go back to earlier episodes its even funnier

Great episode. We get The Lawyer, at least two Charlie freakouts, and Dennis and Mac getting into an idiotic scheme. Can't go wrong with those. My favorite Frank line: "We're gonna go paint your room a color that's not stupid. Then we're going to throw your toys in the trash." Also, Dennis fantasizing about killing the husband and raping the wife was so messed up and way too funny.

The episode was released in 2009. A lot of episodes in this episide refer to things that happened the year before, and there's another one for sure that i can think of in this season.
