A drunk, gargling Frank is the perfect distillation of the man’s eager dedication to this show and how important he is to it all.

He's such a rock star. He was already a successful actor, producer etc. And joined the cast, famously as the story goes, or the show was to be cancelled. But man oh man, he's been worth his weight in gold. From all accounts, he's ride or die for the show, willing to do any mental thing the trio come up with. He's been naked in multiple situations, emerged from sofa's, been trapped in playground equipment (in his underwear) and done things beyond crazy. His presence elevated the show to another level of insane. I actually think, this is the role he was meant to play. Frank Reynolds, you sick fuck. I can't imagine anyone else in that role. Who else could play a naked smoke detector in the pub basement to fool a city inspector?

I cannot express how blessed we are to have Danny Devito to play Frank and how lucky these guys are to have this disgusting animal be in this show. He has had me in tears from laughing so hard. They could not find anyone better to play Frank.

The tour boat scene is so underrated. Just the idea of these tourists going on a tour to learn about Philadelphia, only to have to listen to the rantings of a weird troll man for what's implied to be hours is the funniest thing to me.

There was a reaction video to this episode by a psychologist. The dude was the stereotypical reserved guy who shakes his head on condescending disapproval throughout it, then the line "but not her; she was an angel. She was always smiling, on account of she had no lips, but her mouth was very much in play." The guy burst out in laughter, and you could tell her was trying to gain his composure and had to stop the video for a moment. He said straight out "I shouldn't be laughing, but that just came out of nowhere." It was awesome.

The therapist episode is really one of my favorites. They skipped the best part cuz the whole gang rushes in like lunatics. It's one of the few times someone outside the group is able to witness the full extent of their dysfunction. Made even funnier in this case being a therapist, someone perfectly qualified to understand how insane they are.

It had to be like around 2011 or 2012 when I first got into its always sunny. Many seasons had come out so this was probably one of the longest and most in depth binges I ever did. I was at it for weeks and couldn't stop. I can never forget the first time I saw Frank with the make up at the kid's pageant convincing everyone it was a clean show. It was such a surreal thing and I was laughing so hard. I had so many questions in terms of how hard it could have been to get that cleared by FX or if they just did it willy nilly lmao

Danny he has had the same "look" since back in his "Taxi" days. Amazing that he has changed so little in 44 years.
