Thank you Fil, for featuring Phil...The gift or the sacrament of music is to be shared. A language of love and talent married together. The experience of a minstrel anointing where improv and instinct are never discouraged. Every performance is an incense for the ears and never the same. Ah Stevie Ray Vaughn my love of Texas and the blues, So lovely was his greatness. Heard many describe Hendrix and his left handed guitar playing a monster when he did the feed back. This is so interesting as these masters taught other unselfishly or unwittingly their craft and secrets. My guitar playing and technique will never be there as those who I have experienced listening too that all that I can say is how deeply touched spiritually I am at their greatness.

The second best thing next to watching a musician fully engaged body and soul while playing a gig is their talking about it in the same terms, body and soul. Phil's facial expressions throughout this interview, no matter if it was about his playing or another guitarist, was wonderful.
