It's not new, I started playing that version way before others, I kept saying on the mikanko discord channel that this way of playing the deck is better and everyone didn't believe me.

31:29 In case people wondering why Iorisaur didn't summon the "Bystial Magnamhut" to survive that turn, the equip card "Metalsilver Armor" prevented it from targeting "Ohime the Manifested Mikanko" in the GY. The last chance that Iorisaur could summon "Bystial Magnamhut" was at the response of "Power Tool Braver Dragon"'s effect to equip. But even if Iorisaur summoned "Bystial Magnamhut", it will still be destroyed with "Mikanko Kagura" anyways. And maybe drawing another Bystial from "Branded Regained" could safe Iorisaur for that turn. I'm really enjoying this duel. Respect to both player and also thank you Dkayed for the video!

Thank you for the explaination! In game 3, instead, Metasilver Armor also locked me from activating Skybridge or the rank up/down effect of Constellar Tellarknights, since they target my monster and that is also not allowed, so my only out was Zeus as I couldn't proceed with my combos

Dkayed is hands down the best YGO streamer commentator existed. Sure other is more knowledgeable but they are kinda boring. Some even rebrand MCS tournament but still not as good.

its easy to say "there should an icon that shows extra deck locks " for example ... but there are SOOOO many restrictions that can happen , you can get locked into an archetype,attribute,type and so much more or multiple locks ... im sure too many icons on the screen would scare new or returning yugioh players and the screen wouldnt be looking good if its cluttered with different icons but the UI has been improved so many times and I am sure Konami will find other ways to improve it even more

the meta is so versatile ... makes it really interesting but like Dkayed said sooo many decks can only be beaten by Maxx C if they go first... and nothing is worse then having enemy combo on you for 10minutes just so you can have all your cards negated

I struggle against bystial branded/bystial dragon link as a vanquished soul player i outplay some on ladder tho for a 10-0 streak then losing to one, Its the only deck I struggle against so many outs to disruptions

Mikanko rather play a going first version because it's a best of 3 tournament. opponent would just keep making them go first once they know the deck and the kaiju versions dont have much setup going first.

I like the new toy dragon synchro monster, where i made my mikanko deck i had 1 in my deck and wanted to summon it with krystron lvl 1 in the turn of the opponent, to make me indestructable from all sources and negate 1 card on the field. Its machine so also funny

It's definitely not like Numeron. There is a reason why that deck is not played while Mikanko can win tournaments today and is still played in the card games too. People act like Mikanko and Numeron are the only reflect damage decks, but Lyrilusc can do the exact same thing to win. As we saw, reflecting damage is not the only way for Mikanko to win, and when the new Infernoble support hits Master Duel we'll see even more Mikanko play. Morasaky was using Infernoble in this tournament, but it's still missing cards that make it a true tournament topping threat. The easy way to play Mikanko may be a completely blind second Kaiju strategy, but it has a cap on how far you'll succeed.

Morasaky's here. all respect to u man. once we get infernoble and hopefully we dont get isolde ban. i can guarantee u that i can cook with it. as i topped regionals in tcg with it and i am not even using the acid golem cringe lock. also when dkayed post the early rounds vids tomorrow and the day after u would see some of the plays i was trying to make. i did misplay here and there but the deck is really strong and fun to play@@randumo24

Too bad that Isolde just got banned in TCG, at least Mikanko still have Power Tool to make going 1st play using Diviner or Assault engine but not having Isolde hurt man.

Did you really think TCG affect MD? MD have different banlist and it is based on OCG so as long as those cards is not banned on OCG, MD will not hit it.

With MAXX C being a card i find it funny people still try to play dinos going first with scrap. Just play a go second dinos deck with thrusts and board clears. You dont even need scrap. It wins much more and easily burns negates. Once xeno comes out, going first dinos will be more viable.

As a Mikanko player i know i will still get a summon from water even if goddess and blackwing full armor can't be bounce back. 😁that Mikanko deck is spicy maybe I'll try it out. I'm currently playing MiKASHko and it's good too.

TCG banlists suck IMO because they have no chill. Like when they banned Arise-Heart, or just now them outright banning Circular. It shouldn't be okay to kill an entire archetype just because Komoney wants to sell the newest pack. I want as many decks viable as possible. Just tone down their power level a little so there's never a Tier 0.

The worst part is Cyberse piles were NEVER as busted in the TCG as they were in the OCG because of the format differences, so this was literally just killing a deck to force a meta shift. Even Tearlaments without the millers isn't as dead thanks to the Horus engine and the return of Orcust to make some spicy plays with.

I just hate purrely, this deck is just boring to play against, either you go first and set up enough so they cant play trough it or they just play for 5 hours on both turns and you cant do shit I dont want to build my whole deck around the chance of having to deal with one deck
