Happy you're still feeling better. Thanks for mentioning the homeowners know what they're in for with the boogie leaves. They are gorgeous if you're down for the upkeep. Love that fountain, but will it disappear from the kitchen view once that yucca grows? Do the homeowners have plans to paint the fence and block wall so they "recede" from view - seems like a missed opportunity to leave them as they are. However, your design will make such a difference for the homeowners. I can't wait to see the finished result! I'm excited for the homeowners, too!

Regarding having a wall of bougainvillea against the back fence ("Prison Wall")--think about which direction the prevailing winds blow, because if it's the wrong direction, the neighbors might not appreciate dealing with a constant carpet of spent bracts all over their yard. Just sayin'.
