How do you make your soil? Do you just out that on dry soil when you cut it?
@dianaybarra95672 күн бұрын
How beautiful.wish I could sustain one such as that. It rains too much in Miami though I have specimen succulents and desert roses galore. They seem to be doing okay. Also have alo's tht do great

Do you recommend the gutters in the most shady area on a subtropical climate? Or , it's better in full sun all day? Thank you so much for all you do!!!

I spent 15 years working hand in glove with landscape architects and you've got more variety and interest in 400 square feet than I've seen in a hectare. To put this on a plan would be 1/3 of a page for a partial plan and 2/3 of the page for the plant schedule. It's stunning.

I have several succulents I have planted out side and I want to put more outside. I live in Wisconsin and it gets really cold here. The ones I have put outside have lived wonderfully for years and want to put more outside and not sure what ones will last outside. Can you recommend any ones that will last

Lovely garden❤❤❤ When I use a big pot for planting, I use plastic bottles, etc to save soil but I use a couple of layers of weed barrier covers on top before adding soil to prevent the soil from settling in to gaps. I cut the fabric large enough to cover sides, almost making a sac in a pot. Works wonderfully for me 🥰

6:25 FYI, since you guys brought it up in the video, the _Aloe bainesii_ tree aloe has been "relocated" (reclassified) to its own tree aloe genus called _Aloidendron_ because of its unique characteristics. So now its together with the former _Aloe ramosissimus_ and _A. dichotoma_ (now Aloidendrons). So while they’re not technically 'true' aloes, as in mostly low-growing, rosette plants in the _Aloe_ genus, theyre "aloe-adjacent". 😂 But it’s the same situation with Bulbine, Kniphofia (red hot pokers), Haworthias, Gasterias, daylilies, alstroemerias (Peruvian lilies) and, believe it or not, _Phormium_ (aka New Zealand flax).
