The Slaws enjoy a motorhome stopover with a difference, at Drax Sports and Social Club near Selby in North Yorkshire.
Drax is the UK's largest renewable power station providing the most renewable power of any single location in the UK, some 14 terawatt-hours (TWh0 or enough electricity to power the equivalent of four million homes.

The food is very good in the club. The Slaws have an evening meal and breakfast.
The club have many events on, including Northern Soul and rock and roll dances. This weekend it's a charity race night and dance raising money for Cancer research.

Slaw I have the same pedal lock , it’s a fiddle but I put the brass lock at the back hence no one can drill the lock out just a thought when you park up ,Garry

Looks quite lively there. I remember doing a geocaching series around Drax and there were cctv cameras every 30m on the huge fence surrounding the power station. We got stopped by security for appearing to act suspiciously. Doesn't every geocacher look suspicious? I remember meeting you under the canopy of a tree whilst searching for a cache. You later placed a cache called FenellaThe Holmfirth Tiger which was a real tiger owned by one of my family members. Happy days. Looking forward to your next pitstop. Just hope it's not a pit. 😂

Great to see Slaw looking so well; I just hope that the improvement continues. I also use Solbio and would not go for any other opt; I find that it lasts longer than any of the other choices.

What a great bunch of friends you have. Always enjoy it when you take us along for the ride. Jessie and Billy look adorable, as usual. Hi John, it’s an Aramox. If you look in our Amazon shop it’s there and Slaw also did a vlog on how to fit it. We’ve never booked at Drax and never had a problem getting a space. It’s a huge car park 👍🏻
