Ok, so I have things to say about the movie, and my own opinions. So, I had a friend watch this movie with me! I wanted it to be her… introduction into the series. However when they watched it… they really weren’t into it. They kept asking questions, like “why don’t they give him the miraculous? They didn’t say there were any issues”, “what are the powers of the miraculous? How do they work?”, “why does hawkmoth have a dungeon of criminals?”, “how did Marinette transform without the earrings?”. She didn’t care for adrien and Marinettes relationship because it was undeveloped and rushed, she didn’t like plagg at all because of all the fart jokes and it broke my heart. She was questioning what cataclysm was because it was never said or shown! Honestly, after that I realised that… the movie isn’t a great introduction to the miraculous universe. However after I showed her origins and… she actually really liked it. She enjoyed how Marinette got to know Adrien wasn’t a bad person despite being friends with Chloe, she liked that the miraculous were actually explained, how the ladybug and black cat could give ultimate power, and she actually liked plagg! And most of all, she LOVED the umbrella scene! She now even wants to see episode 1 at a later date. Though, she was constantly confused what a “lucky charm” was and why it was never in the movie, or what was the miraculous ladybug and why couldn’t ladybug recreate the world on her own. Honestly all this being said… I see where’s she’s coming from. Honestly, the movie didn’t satisfy me. Gabriel being forgiven for all this destruction, chaos and carnage… doesn’t feel right. At all. Gabriel doesn’t deserve this, in the show or in the movie. Regardless for his reasons, he shouldn’t of been allowed to be forgiven. The fact the movie doesn’t explain the miraculous powers at all, Fu knowing who hawkmoth is before Gabriel even know, how adrien was more mean spirited in the movie then the show, PLAGG, and more. (Also, I would of preferred Christina to of sing some of the songs, but that’s a nitpick). I loved the music, visuals and the middle part of the movie with the magician and the mime battle but much of the movie… on its own just isn’t what I would of wanted to watch as my own introduction to the series. However I haven’t seen the finale, so I wouldn’t know how that handles it. Although, I’m extremely sad if this might possibly be your final reaction, as I feel so far, season 5 has been the best the series has been in its 7 years, and I would of wanted to at least finish it with you. However, if this is what you want… if you truly think there is nothing else then… I can except that. Besides, I can tell you all about it when I’m done, ha ha.

imo, I really don’t get why other people have a problem with the difference in singing voice because I’m absolutely in *love* with Lou’s singing voice in English! For me I wasn’t really taken aback by the transition between Cristina’s voice and Lou’s.

I can't wait to see this reaction. This movie was amazing and everyone was great. I like the movie and the show, they both have their charms in their own ways. The movie because it feels more realistic and they're more mature, it just feels more relatable. But the show has been with us since we were very young and it's just cool to see the comparison of season 1 and season 5 and how far the show has progressed. I feel like the movie and their relationships went well, actually if you didn't know, the events of the movie took place in 4 months. But for the show, it was a year. So the movie was kinda more fast paced and the show is more slow paced. Which I like to see, they're both very good in their own ways. If you're truly done with miraculous, then it was a pleasure watching all of your miraculous reactions, I enjoy them the most. I'm so glad that miraculous gave me the opportunity to find other reactions channels like you that I can look forward to seeing, and in all honesty, this channel is one of the best miraculous channels I've seen in a long time, so seeing you maybe be done with miraculous is upsetting to me. This movie was epic. They outdid themselves in the production quality and the graphics were superb. Best film ever. There is even hope for a sequal regarding Natalie. The musical numbers were A-list quality performances. All in all excellent work. Color me impressed. I laughed my butt off when i saw what happened to Chloe. A girl that spoiled deserved to be in a dumpster.

About the question of Marinette's dominant hand, I believe she's ambidextrous, if what's been said about the show also applies to the movie. I recall seeing a joke from the fanbase in the past about Marinette prioritizing different hands as a civilian vs Ladybug being the only reason Adrien still doubts his "Marinette is Ladybug" theory (besides seeing Multimouse detransform) lol

Adrien refuses to connect to others now to avoid the feeling of lost he had when his mom died, and has even given up connecting with his dad at all. Which, y’know, is a common and understandable trope to see. (Though this is a bit odd considering he was already friends with Nino) Show!Adrien however despite his mothers death, still regularly tries to talk and connect with his father, and even wants to make new connections with people other then Chloe. Nino and Marinette were huge breakthroughs in his life! Anyway, currently watching your reaction, just wanted to make this observation, lol. The movie has a lot of character differences, some better, some worse, others interesting. Though I’m a bit sad there’s no umbrella scenes.

Some trivia about this movie.. in France the movie is kinda flopping.. the fandom in France don't really like the movie because of somes things : - 1 : Because the movie don't really respect the universe of the serie (no luckycharm, Hawkmoth is threated like a second personnality of Gabriel and some other things) 2 : A part of the fandom don't really like how the movie is written. They don't like the Adrienette because the love story is really rushed. They think the character are not really well written. And the revelation between the hero don't really had a great significant in the context of the movie. - 3 : And finally the songs, they think that the movie had to much song. And the voice of Marinette completely change when she sing and yeah it's weird.. And the majority of the song don't really had much in the story. BUT they really like the animation and the action scenes. Personnally I think the movie is fine. The movie can had some problems (some BIG problem) but in the end it's fun and cool.

The movie was amazing but it just felt so fast tho.. like i wish there were some scene that added or maybe some scene being longer.. My enjoyment rn at the moment is probably around 6 to 8 out of 10 I wait and see how sequel will do maybe i change my mind about rating but for now i stick with what my guts are feeling tho.. For the sequel i do hope we get more explaination of something to make something in first film less complicated and maybe character has more interactions atleast.. because some part it felt like there isnt interaction that is atleast lil long enough tho. I just watched the movie with you. Of course, I already knew the ending of the movie before (I watched the movie when it was leaked to the Internet in French, and decided to look at the ending for the sake of interest) Better then the series? 100% - YES. More precisely, this movie is what the series should have been FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. (Most likely, Natalie will be the new villain in the 2nd movie. Mayura.) It seems to me that the MAIN problem of the series is that it has been running for 7 YEARS. And when, after so much time, the fans find out some new details, facts and things about the Miraculous universe that were never mentioned before (or there were hints about these things, but they were not obvious then) - the fans don't like it, because their Miraculous World is collapsing. I think this idea (Adrien-Sentimonster) is pretty cool. Yes, this is a new information that breaks your heart. BUT, the problem here is not the acceptance of this fact itself, but the fact that they decided to tell us about it 7 YEARS LATER, IN SEASON 5. Your dislike of this theory is that you DON'T KNOW HOW IT'S GOING TO BE EXPLAINED (if it turns out to be true). For example, Adrien IS a human, but Emily used the Peacock Miraculous to create a Sentimonster (a microorganism) capable of curing/saving Adrien's life. Of course, I already know everything. I have already written once that you will not watch Miraculous any further after season 5. (and the reason here is not the movie, it is a season 5 finale and Sentimonster theory) If you're not going to watch the show anymore, I can just tell you everything and explain. I know what your reaction will be to the remaining episodes of season 5, and now I am more sure that you will be AS ANGRY AND DISSATISFIED as POSSIBLE. And considering that you've already watched the movie, now I'm 100% sure.

While I do love the movie a lot, there is one thing that bothers me. Throughout the movie, Cat Noir had fallen in love with Ladybug, while Ladybug hasn't returned his feelings. Although, it was evident that Ladybug did have feelings for him deep down during the Ladynoir dance that took place in the middle of the movie. When it comes to Marinette and Adrien, Marinette had fallen for Adrien, but he didn't return her feelings since he was already in love with Ladybug, and because they were just friends. What bothers me is that while Adrien saw Marinette as a friend, which was their exact relationship, he was already ready to kiss her merely seconds after she told him that she's Ladybug. In my opinion, that's not right. Perhaps if the song The Wall Between Us was still gonna be in the movie, it would've made it evident that Adrien had feelings for Marinette deep down despite that he's already in love with Ladybug. I feel like he just loves Marinette because she's Ladybug. It's not right that he was suddenly ready to kiss her when she admitted that she is the girl behind Ladybug's mask. It just really bothers me. Other than that, the movie was incredibly beautiful and I cannot wait for the 2nd movie to come out.
