Do you go back and fill all the tiny nail holes? Isn't that ship lap tongue and groove and if so why not nail in the tongues?

Yeah we have the matching filler for the nail holes from the same company (Metrie) that makes the shiplap. We prefer two nails in each stud on each plank for a strong hold. And honestly the nail holes don’t bother us 🤷🏼♂️😆
