There's a trick to not let know your opponent know when you can chain something and chain it at the right time and surprising them. *The trick:* Enable chain confirmation activation to show the button (Auto - On - No). Then instantly change it to "No" at the begin of the duel and keep your mouse in the button. When you have cards like "Maxx C", it's good to turn it On at the very moment your opponent is about to Special Summon, otherwise they can know you have something in hand (and figure out what eventually), and change their plays to get around it. When you have cards like "Nibiru" and you want your opponent to do more combos before activating it but you also want to make them think you have none so they can keep summoning feeling safe, YOU can always keep the chain button to "No" for 1 second after the summoning (we enter the momentum where there's nothing to chain to), and THEN immediately change it to "Auto" (or "On" if you don't have other Quick Effects). This serves to get asked to chain it before opponent moves to Battle Phase/End Phase, but since it wasn't Auto for the while time, they most likely played not expecting the Nibiru, got greedy with summon and then quit in rage. If opponent has monsters on field and levels match for Synchros or Links that will negate, use Nibiru earlier. It seems a silly info that may not change a lot, but knowledge of opponents cards is power. Some cards are banned because of the advantage you would get by just seeing their hand. And you can guess their staples, hand-traps and backrows just by paying attention to timing of effects and activation.

Does Toast have a kaiju or negate cards in that deck? Numeron is a strong OTK deck and annoying to deal with, but without the proper protection it’s useless against archetypes like Floowandereeze and pals especially the emperor penguin

They are honestly better of playing duel links on steam. It's faster playthrough and the skills as well as characters and dialog help with interaction and fun. In comparison to masterduel, I'd prefer duel links. Yes master duel is more serious I get that but waiting God know show long for someone to finish summoning or for them to stop stalling takes forever. There's other issues with how it's so boring. If they played duel links, fuslie and the others may like the game more especially with the female characters

Sykkuno was right that stuff like this is why nobody plays modern yugioh. I tried out ranked and I just remember several times opponent going first with a pendulum based deck. I sat there for over 10 minutes while they used over 100 effects (I counted them in the replay) and it ended with them doing 8000 points of burn damage and FTKing me before I was even able to play the game. After the fourth time this happened to me I closed the game and still haven’t opened it again, and I don’t intend to.
