@@Djsatile Well that shows confidence right there... I read somewhere that they were pressured to do the realistic design, and the fan backlash is how they convinced Paramount it wouldn't work. This is what they wanted all along.

I'm expecting a mediocre movie that's fun. Keyword: FUN. You got people like Remy still complaining even after the most recent trailer. Which was very well done compared to the first one. The second trailer actually made me laugh. I felt nothing with the original trailer.

This has got to be the absolute best reaction to ANYTHING Sonic related I have ever seen! No joke! I'm so happy people are liking this trailer. It was really hard to enjoy the first one; which I was super excited with; when everyone is telling it off. Even on the radio I heard so many bad comments. Seeing this new trailer, and your reactions, this makes me so happy. Thank you so much. :)

They got Easter eggs at certain points of the movie, and what Paramount did was Brilliant Green Hill design at the beginning of trailer Hill top Rd Green Hill theme The signature emblem on his headband And they gone with Ramones' Blitzkrieg Bop and remixed some parts. We need to thank Tyson Hesse for this, he was the leading designer of making this new Sonic and the one that done the art design for Sonic Mania.

You probably already know this but I'm gonna say it because other people are STILL complaining... Sonic's rings have always been portals. Collect 50 and a Warp ring will appear at the end of the level. The filmmakers appear to be taking a concept from the games (Sonic 1, 3, 4, and Mania) and are expanding upon it.

You can tell the animators did actually played the games, but i hardly doubt the actual writing team played any Sonic game considering how bad the SOnic characterization is

There are a lot of Easter eggs that you might have missed. 1. The tiki torches from green hill 2. The white bandana in the karate scene has the Sonic loading screen Logo 3. The scene when they are at a hotel, Sonic on top is doing the animation when he is about to fall off an edge 4. The ping pong table is the sign of the Hill Top level in Sonic 5. The rings are used to travel around the world anytime 6. The part when he screams, he has a ring in one hand and a brown sack on the other

I’m actually pumped up for this movie. I don’t know what that was in the first trailer but this is what I call a sonic trailer m. Well done who took their time to fix the design and made it appealing👍🏾 The only thing that concerns me is why sonic said that people from his world are after his power, doesn’t he protect the flickies?🤷‍♂️ Nonetheless this is a masterpiece. Definitely watching this😉

What's so good about this trailer is the tone. The jokes land better, and it feels like a fun film, whereas the first trailer felt very all over the place. Sonic feels more like Sonic too.

im gonna go ahead and make the assumption that if this first movie does really good then naturally there will be a sequel or two, with that said if they do go down that route then maybe it would tie into a kind of retelling of the first 3 original sonic games. First film introducing sonic and eggman and then maybe a second film bringing in tails and knuckles who knows

As for the FIRST ever person that saw the new trailer when it dropped right at 6 ET in the morning (and I feel blessed that I am the very first person ever that laid eyes on it before anyone else did), I feel very very happy with the new movie that is coming out. Like Lourdes, I, too, had very happy tears in my eyes while watching the trailer. YES! It finally happened - A Sonic movie that we all can agree on and no one so far is saying that it's still a bad design, which is PERFECT for this 42-year-old Sonic fan, because, really, I didn't want to wait for another release date if some fans still wanted to complain about the design... but so far so good! I hear nothing but positive vibes all across the board with this new trailer :D
