Tinkerbell's villain song has quickly become a favorite. Not only is it amazing the story is great and helps explain Tink's hostility towards Wendy

In the original book, it is explained that since fairies are so small they can only feel one emotion, and extremely at that. So in the song, Tink is messed up because all she is feeling is anger that someone, Wendy, is taking away her and her friend's only means of staying alive. Plus Windy 'grew up' and stopped believing in Fairy Tales, including fairies, a long time ago so Wendy's fairy is probably already dead.

Fun Fact about Tinkerbell: she's a twin. So if Peter Pan stops believing, it won't just be her going down. Also the line "or did it slip your mind/you need three things to fly/let's see you try when I remove mine". You need faith and trust to fly, but most importantly pixie dust. In the original movie it's made clear: without the faeries you aren't flying.

In the Tinkabell song, the way she sings "fall" how she drags it down to show how much far she wants Wendy to fall is just 🥰. It shows the depth and how much hate she has for her, and it just always gives me goosebumps!

Lydia’s originality is really incredible. She always uses unexpected angles, blending the originals with new villain elements, and then perfectly orchestrating and singing everything? Stunning. 😩

I like how Tink's song makes sense in-universe and out. In Peter Pan, fairies are so tiny they can't feel more than one emotion at a time, so it's always a near-extreme. If they're happy, they are outright manic. If they are angry, they are completely furious.

Its so funny because Tinkerbell actually is super hotheaded. I think it was one of the spin off books, but in it it mentions fairies are so small they can only feel one emotion at once, meaning Tinkerbell feels nothing but pure, all-consuming rage when mad.

I just had a binge of her music haha. Fall Little Wendy Bird is one of my favorites. It is one of the most unsettling songs ever but it is so good. I love how she didn’t portray tink as being jealous, just desperate and angry and thus willing to do anything it took to keep her friends alive. To make sure no other human lost faith in fairies that would kill the rest of the fairy population.

Tinkerbell's villain song is my favorite one of hers, and I love how it really explains why Tink was so angry at Wendy more than just jealously. There is another sorta alternate story done of Encanto by MilkyyMelodies that I think you might enjoy. Starts with Isa's Whatelse Can I Do leads into Isa singing Surface Pressure and THEN to an original song for Dolores.

After that fall, probably safe to say Wendy's done. On the other hand, if she survived, the damage taken would justify a villain Wendy response song with her taking on a pirate visage. That could be fun!

At 16:17, yeah actually. it's not that clear in the movie, but Film Theory did an episode on that a couple years ago. The village was completely isolated from the outside world until the mountain cracked, and while technically there would have been enough generic diversity to avoid inbreeding in the village, it would've required very precise tracking of family trees to avoid it, which is what the Grandma was doing in the visit to the other family.

Luckily Peter has a memory akin to the length of time it takes for a match to burn so he probably won’t remember any of this.

Mulans song wasn’t even a villains song more like a viva revolution via vendetta type of song, it would have been a villains song if she added the (collective punishment) (suffering of the innocents) parts which would make her song a villains song, unless she did sing something like that but I missed that part? 🤔

I have actually watched Peter Pan recently so I can assure you Matthew that Tinkerbell’s villain song is a complete original and not a variation of a song from the movie. I also would guess, although I’m not entirely sure that the Jasmine one was one that Lydia made earlier in her villain song career as it is basically a cover of Arabian Nights, meaning the exact same lyrics and just her voice, attitude, and maybe some slight differences in background music? To make it a villain song.

I want, like, a revenge song for Peter, where he realizes that Tink did in fact, *NOT* use pixie dust, to make sure Wendy dies and he + the Lost Boys join up with Captain Hook or something similar to get revenge on the fairies or to escape Neverland after realizing that it is basically nothing more than a gilded cage. That would be so cool.

It’s not that far off for Tinker Bell to be a villain. All the little movies that came out that has the main character always try to depict her as this good person. But the original version of her in the book absolutely despised Wendy. Because she loved Peter Pan and felt Wendy was trying to take her away from her. And at one point, she’s actually convinced by Hook to poison her, but the thing is. At the end, she realizes that Wendy isn’t going to drink the poison. Peter Pan is. Which is what hook was wanting to do all along. So in a bit to save Peter Pan not because she regrets trying to poison Wendy she drinks the poison herself showing Peter Pan that it’s the drink was poisoned.

The tinker bell one not only had the best song but the animatic was perfectly constructed and brought out such goosebumps

22:11 The animatic ends with Wendy falling headfirst into spikes, but the animatic was cut off in a way that we do not know whether Tinkerbell succeeded in killing her, or she was saved at the last moment. But if she did die, the last thing she would have hear was the sound of bells, since that is what fairies sound like to humans. (In some adaptations Wendy is able to understand tinkerbell either when Tink wants her to hear her or once Wendy accomplished something.And i think it would be cool here if Wendy could only hear the bells throught the song and then on the last line she finally hears tink and feels ultimately betrayed)

Oh my GOSH I love the Tinkerbelle song, the reason they're stealing children is because when a baby laughs for the first time a fairy is born, and her birth came from peter, and the lost boys were her fairy friends from the tinkerbelle series, I love their incorporation into Tinks evil villain song is a means of survival more than anything else, and the fact that Tink is a twin just gives her more reason to fight for her survival as if they stop believing in them, they straight up DIE. I’d especially recommend listening to the AU songs for Isabella ( What Else Can I Do followed by Surface Pressure) and Dolores (You Better Listen Up, which is original). You should do these in the order written, as they actually build off of each other.
