In this video I unbox and take a look at the new Losi Promoto MX 1/4 scale RC bike. Unfortunately I don't have a battery to fit it :( so there'll be another video coming just as soon as the battery arrives.

The low speed control is also impressive. With bars up, and gyro turned up, I can turn in 5’ circle.

I'm running some Spektrum 100c 5000Mah 2s packs with the ic5 connector and get around 13-18 minutes run time depending on how hard I'm on the throttle.

I think that flywheel uses up half the battery.

I have a set of 130c Pro Match drag packs that are also 5000 mah and I get about the same from them. @@Triggered-RC

It's an awesome bike but a little over priced and the wheels and tyres are more expensive than my X-Maxx's wheels and tyres which i think is an absolute rip off from Losi.

It’s a bit expensive, though it may prove to be cheaper to run than the LMT. I think my X-rider Cafe Racer kit cost about the same when I was done building it. Hopefully this one will be easier to drive/ride if I can find the space to run it.

@@Triggered-RC I'm just comparing it to Losi's other vehicles which have four shocks four wheels and a 3s power system and wider so more plastic which are about the same price but it is an awesome bike and i will probably get one when they get stock in the UK which i think will not be until September - Happy Rc'ing.

I think there’s a lot more technology in this, than your xmax, and I can tell you, it’s more fun than a car or truck, and a trx 5:38 4 is@ $600 also. Bike is way more fun, if you’ve ever ridden motorcycles!

That 3 s will burn out the 2s only ESC/Motor for the flywheel. FYI

You would need to wire in a good BEC to power the gyro system. Saw a couple people already swapped to different esc/motor combos to run 3s.

I was disappointed I didn’t get mine before the KZfaqrs got theirs for pre release vids. I got my LMT before they got their free ones. Didn’t work out with the Moto though.
