@MrTeathyme6 ай бұрын
@@SneakyWindex 20 pounds of fat is 70 thousand calories so i doubt youre gaining/losing that in a month without serious effort in either eating alot for the gain portion or excessive dieting for the lose portion, weight loss isnt something you do in 1 or 2 months, its done over the span of a few years, 6 month transformations dont happen unless youre not that big to begin with lets say youre 200 pounds, your body is ~120 pounds of water (conservatively) which is a little over 54 litres of water 1litre takes 1 kilocalorie (calories in food are actually kilocalories) to raise by 1 degree celsius, and the body radiates on average 65% of its energy daily, so given a core temp of 37c you will lose enough energy to drop 24c to raise a 200 pound bodies temperature by 24c of energy over a day in order to keep the internal temperature at 37c you would need to burn at a bare minimum 1300 calories So even if you were brain dead, none of your organs were functioning, your muscles disappeared etc etc, literally your entire body had shutdown except for the bit keeping your internal temp at the right number, youd still burn 1300 calories a day just keeping your insides warm 1300 calories is 37% of a pound So laying still in a vegetative state with all of your body shut down for 30 days would burn 11 pounds of fat if however you are actually telling the truth and not just A) making excuses or B) misinformed about what youre eating and how nutrition works well then we need to get you down to the lab pronto, because if your body truly is not losing weight when not eating then we need to discover what condition that is because that would mean your body is generating those 1300 calories out of thin air, and those 1300 calories are equivalent to 1511 watts of energy, if we could mass produce your body we could solve the energy crisis today, truly remarkable

@leilanitauheed3334 And therefore 300lbs definitely isn't the cut off where it becomes an actual health concern as the person I replied to suggested. I'm taller than the vast majority, and I'd reach health concerns well before I got to 300lbs. For most people, 300lbs is well into the deep end of impacting your health. Of course people are welcome to be whatever size they want, and they shouldn't be bullied for it, but equally the 299lb person at 5ft 4" should not be lying to everyone claiming that they're just "thick" and that it isn't a genuine health concern.

@AG-yc7vt6 ай бұрын
Backhanded compliment
@Ma5jay5dontxdoxthat6 ай бұрын
@AG-yc7vt Not really. Grace is considered plus size, and even if she wasn't, a lot of people is extremely insecure about their looks and size, irregardless of how they look or size. It's a very small percentage that would be willing to self depreciate themselves in this way, and still look confident like she does and the joke still be funny. Like you have to be extremely secure with yourself to do something like that, which, like is mentioned, and extremely good and rare trait to have, and a trait that makes her an amazing comedian.
@Shmaples6 ай бұрын
@AG-yc7vt Not at all. Women face a very different set of insults/insecurities (especially online) than men.. So to see a women who doesn't fit the cookie cutter, stereotypical, misogynistic, western centric version of a "beautiful woman" give no sh!ts and show herself and her body on screen is extrmely empowering. Not only does she show her body, she pokes fun at it and makes all kinds of jokes about her looks and body just like men are allowed to do. On top of that, she also plays the roll of the "popular" girl or the "hot girl" in their skits.. She has confidence and she doesn't act ashamed to exist in her own skin. This can be hard for a lot of women to do because we feel like we have to be cute and hot in order to deserve praise or attention so when we see someone like Grace we feel like were getting a bresth of fresh air. We feel empowered to exist even though were "fat". Grace is my favorite cast member and not only is she hilarious but the fact that her ability to not give a sh!t is empowering to me is just an added bonus. It may seem like an insult to a dude if you just look on the surface but I think Grace and most chubby, overweight or insecure women would totally get why the Original comment and my own comment are intended as compliments. Grace knows she's overweight and thats ok! It's not a crime to have a belly! She can acknowledge this fact and even make fun of it which is just outrageously awesome. I really admire her.
