I have to say, from 2013 up until now in 2021, BTS have literally tried mixing every style and genre of music they can, and they continue to do so. People who have just gotten into BTS or don’t really do their research about them will say they’re a couple of Barbie doll looking boys that make rainbow unicorn music (yes, I actually have heard people say stuff like that before), but in all honesty, it’s just that in this day in age, there are so many negative things happening in the world and they’re choosing to make happy, positive, and upbeat music. Don’t be mistaken though, pop is t the only genre of music they can do, and I just want people to understand that they are artists who truly are like chameleons. They can do whatever they set their mind to do, and I don’t think there is anything wrong with seven grown men who want to make upbeat music like this. In conclusion, I’m going to have butter on repeat, and if you haven’t already, please like this video and subscriiibe to this amazing channel. That’s all I got2say

When referring to the 80s and 90s vibe of this video... I felt that. BTS show that they have MAD respect for music in general. They took it back to a time when music wasn't separated by genre. You would turn on the radio and hear prince, madonna, George Michael, etc. on the same station. They are absolutely a GENRE surpassing hip hop, k pop, rock, and r & b.

*I* had to pause the WhatchaGot2Say video after Round 1 just so I could comment on AJJ's adorable reaction. I think he only blinked three times the whole way through the MV -- until he got to the end and blinked away a few tears (I saw that, AJJ!). And his sweet, sweet grin was wider than I've ever seen it! Love you guys as always! 💜

@@Ok-cs3rf uploading or watching reaction or lyric videos in the first 24h after a new MV messes with the KZfaq algorithm. Sometimes when you search for the official MV, the unofficial ones get listed first, which steals views etc. That why ARMY has a rule: "We don't watch any lyric/reaction videos in the first day and you should side-eye/unfollow any channel, who uploads them. Those videos are easy views at the expense of BTS. Someone all these reactors claim to love." I have a personal policy of blocking all the channels disrespecting the rule, cause I think it shows really well, who is here just for clout and views and who actually respects and loves ARMY and BTS. It's like spring cleaning every CB.

Loved the reaction, I saw this video and was like they respecting the decades of boy bands, black and white 60’s the disco era platform in the 70’s then u got the 80’s with the shoulder pads in the elevator with the 80’s decor jin sitting in that chair, then into the 90’s when they in the sports hall with tracksuits and then to them as the present wearing their style coz they are the present. Tied up with a beautiful BTS finish. 🥰

Beyond my expectations! I’m a product of the eighties and this just hit home for me. So many feels that brings me back to feeling like a kid and they just have such an appreciation for great music (I’m biased sure but the eighties was one of the best decades for music). BTS NEVER disappoints - showing their love for ARMY and they are just so fluid with their moves, lyrics, etc. At around 12:41, you could see the glass shatter in Nico’s head 😂😂. So funny! I really LOVE you guys and the reactions. Thank you for sharing ☺️

So many references to 80s/90s, nice Freddie mercury tribute and so much to admire. Dont know why I still get surprised at how good a new track is, they just keep on doing it. Spot on BTS ARE the genre, their music spans so many decades and styles and they are unique and the most important group in decades ( maybe ever!! )

They very cleverly managed to combine the feel of the late 70's and early 80s with a touch of the seventies and bring disco to the 2021 masses. Dua Lipa started it and they for me just NAILED IT, Using another one bites the dust from Queen as the base was genius and the fact that they not only let them they pushed it all day on their own platforms. The colours the beat the EVERYTHING was smooth like butter, like an episode of Miami Vice only thing missing is the Daytona Spyder. Never underestimate these guys, they have it in spades. I LOVED THIS SONG
