Certain types of mannerisms and proper etiquette and respectfulness is extremely important in a lot of Asian countries. It’s very different in the way it is presented in western cultures and respect of elders is hugely emphasised. That is not to say western cultures lack respect, it’s just presented differently. It’s cool to see an idol who is so famous who continues to show those same traits and doesn’t feel he’s better than others. These are things taught to me as a kid and greatly emphasised so it’s cool to see it in someone like him. He’s a prime example of proper behaviour. I admire that about him.
