Hey Meghan. I concur. Even when they have good intentions behind it, it can still come off as indirectly dismissing the person’s feeling or emotions as though it doesn’t matter and that everyone has to have a stupid big grin on their face to show everybody that they are happy. People can be annoying honestly

I used to hide all my pain thinking I can make it go away with liq weed but it didn’t work n it go worse now I’m letting go n God is fully healing me and I love it I feeeeeel free😍🙏no liq. No weed just me and God my rehab

I have been there plenty of times throughout my life, abandoned by my father, stepfather tried to kiss me, sister jealous of me, never fitted in, relationships failed, abused, used, depressed, sad, angry, thoughts of suicide, etc..throughout all these things writing, rapping, and singing music has always been my therapy and I thank God my mind is in a better place

This year is the first time since 2002 that I have been suicidal. I'm 40 now and got a grip on my emotions and know that doing so would hurt a lot of people. This has been a stressful year.

I completely understand surviving thru life long adversities. Be gentle with yourself. This thing called "LIFE" can be so very challenging! Strive for resilience. If taking one day at a time is too difficult break to down to an hour, a minute or a millisecond. Treat yourself for your victories.

Time is of the essence due to statues of limitations. Start ASAP. Look for Pro-Bono Attorney. They collect when you win. Contact your local states Bar Association for free consultation & legal aid. Or contact your news network(s) for references. Some offer investigative reports assisting in resolution. Good luck!

Thank you Mr. Shelton, I am not depressed but my day has been the toughest I’ve had in a very long time. I’ve been crying all day because I felt as though my partner was slipping away from me. It is my worst nightmare to lose her. She is everything I have. My storm will run out of rain.

Thank you for sharing your message. My aunt died from suicide 17 years ago. She was a social worker for a living. I never even knew she was depressed until a few days before she died. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by that I don’t miss her or think about her in my life.

Thanks Trent As a counselor I tell my clients I’m not coming in and pretending life is rainbows and unicorns It’s painful A lot recently But in spite of my pain and fear I will keep showing love to those hurting around me and put my stuff aside for that time And when I’m on my time I soak up the same love from others Like u thru ur posts God bless u brother!

I couldn't sleep, couldn't even read my Bible cus I just got a glimpse that I'm not okay. Already stroll thru ytube couldn't find anything to look or listen..was abt to just drop my phone n go into a depressed state bt I just kept coming to ytube n I saw Trents post. It's come to a Point where life is nothing but one heartache after another, everybody who relies on me turns their backs when they don't need anything from me. I carry everything and everyone on my shoulders but I'm drowning trying to hold them above water. It isn't just a temporary situation. I don't want to be here, there is no happiness, there is nothing. I'm not sure what I'm going to do but for people who claim to care about me are being selfish to expect me to stay living when there's nothing but loneliness and sadness. They have their lives, they have joy, happiness and a reason to go on, I don't and I'm too tired to keep going and I'm drowning while saving everyone else.

Honestly I been there and it’s something that so hard to do when your silent, the day I broke that silent it felt so good. There’s days where I’m not okay but I normalize that it’s okay to not be okay and it’s okay to feel what u feel. But what’s not okay is to let things control you and make you feel like your nothing. When In reality you are. Today was not good for me but I’m gonna give tomorrow a chance and talk about the good things. It’s okay to not be okay. Every will always be alright. Give yourself a chance.

My life feels like it's over I had a really bad car wreck and now I am crippled and I can't walk around anymore and nobody wants to be around me and I always have listened to you Trent since the car wreck and I feel like I'm not getting better
