@@itsyourboysnow To be real, i don't have a top 3. i don't consider anyone to be at the top. I base my opinion on albums. If i love an artist and they drop a mid album they moving down, don't matter who it is but that's entirely subjective. Drake hasn't released a good album in a min and I think Mr moral was massively inflated by die hard fans that will ride regardless if the music is mid or not. I find that that is the issue with hip hop. its not the lack of competition in general but lack of competition with self. Everyone trying to one up each other to the point where the project is worse than the one they dropped before but better than the one they competing with.
@itsyourboysnow4 ай бұрын
@@taylorcliff6609 facts, fans will warp the truth to favor their favorite artist, regardless if it's mid or not. But I think that's just a people thing. You can get fans like that on most genres not only hip hop/rap, just that it's exaggerated because of the big talk and bravado culture it's built on
@taylorcliff66093 ай бұрын
@@itsyourboysnow *warning, This is kind of a long tangent* its weird to compare hip hop heads to other music genre lovers XD We completely different people. Hip hop was built on people telling their story, Their truth. At some point during its global inception, it became about telling a story regardless whether it was true or not but we as fans of the true art, don't accept that if the artist wishes to be compared to ones that are telling the truth. Other genre fans tend to just accept it, as long as it sounds good, they don't care about who's behind the mic truly. Taylor Swift songs can be sung by anyone with a good voice and be good, that's what makes it pop, its easy to follow and catchy. Thats not to take anything away from her. Shes just a good song writer but kinda generic really.

J Cole munchin’ on Drake’s meat while dissing Kanye. He sampled Kanye’s song for his first big hit ‘Workout’ and then when Nas said he wasn’t feeling it, he immediately backpedaled and made ‘Let Nas Down’. When Drake hires ghostwriters for his tracks, he praises him the most. What kinda hypocrisy is this? Kanye never hid the fact that he hires writers like CyHi, Pusha T, etc. Drake actively avoided the ghostwriter allegations. J Cole’s nothing but a pawn now.

Coles been talking his shit forever, but as soon as it comes to Kendrick he pussies out. I don’t even care about someone “winning” or “losing” in a beef, it’s for the CULTURE

This is the guy who made songs like "Pride is the devil" and irl hes very self deprecating talking about "chase their greatness", when you say things like that how could people think he was challenging for no.1? Cole looked all too comfortable falling on his sword. Most rappers would be having sleepless nights after something like THAT, not the diss track. TBH I'm just curious to see how this affects the sales when he drops his album.

Hey Bro I'm so maD.!!! J cole was my pick and I feel like he let Hip Hop down. KDot said," It's time to prove that he a problem!!!" Turns out he unproblematic.This is like Rodney King saying cant we all get along after cops beat his ass for 2 hours! Cole I feel you that you dont wanna tear black men down but HIP HOP has ALWAYS been about competition. If that was the case you shoulda kept yo mouth shut from the gate. You calling yoself Muhammad Ali. Somebody call Muhaammad Ali out, He meeting em in that ring!!! So you can never ever ever ever say that you the best again! Damn (sad emoji face).

Drake isn't gonna respond because he knows he fell off so instead he buys up his competition so he doesn't have to compete. He couldn't buy Kendrick so now he's letting both of them fight while he stays safe. Cole doesn't get to apologize because he built his entire career on claiming he's the 🐐(and sneak dissing Kendrick). It was def weird for him to come outta nowhere settling with Drake for the top spot, and at the same time claiming he's still the best on the same track. Now when someone challenges that, he wants to say it was all a prank?? nah bro
@user-vt5tw9gx2j4 ай бұрын
Also, I think this move is disingenuous. He dissed Kendrick on other songs as well, some of them are on the project. He isn’t removing those from streaming services either. ^this is a extremely valid point
