The running with the imaginary bike, so good haha :) When i was tracking you during the race on the map i imagined sunny weather, seems like it was not so nice :) Congrats!

Hahah I tried really hard to make it realistic - I probably did look like that on race TBH 😅 Haha I too imagine sunny weather but reality struck SO hard. But thank you so much for following along and tracking ☺

The packing everything brought me back to that stress! Ack! I think the logistics are almost worse than the race. Almost. Great job ! Looks like rain could have made it really rough - excellent finish!!

What kind of bike did you use? Did you end up adding tri bars or anything?

I used the Trek Domane AL4. And no I didn’t add tri bars. Since it had a lot of hills and turns, it wasn’t really needed (and I’m also new to this and felt like I wasn’t ready to invest in tri bars just yet)
