You're absolutely right about Deftones being music for getting it on. That ambience they do so well is because take a lot of influence from the genres "shoegaze" and "dreampop" and add it to metal.

Passenger is a car sex song. You have Chino’s feathery voice warming ya up and even MJK is soft at first……and then he builds up to a ‘peak’ only to come back in for ‘round 2’ ….then lingers off into ecstasy with that piano outro. It’s perfect for the purpose - a great collaboration.

Saw this in my recommended and I ain't NEVA been so excited! Deftones is that band where listening to them in a car with the windows down is a must. They either got me feeling like I'm floating or I'm headbanging, it's an experience. Great reaction as always and I'm bout to check out your slipknot reactions too!

Great video! Love them. Chino Moreno started a band right after White Pony album called Team Sleep. The song “Ever (Foreign Flag)” has a similar mellow ethereal feel to it.
