The acapella R&B wave of the early 90s was pretty special. So many R&B groups would release an acapella version of one of their singles. You have to react to the acapella version of Shai's "If I Ever Fall In Love".

"It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" is still the best song Boyz II Men ever recorded, despite being a cover. Their first album remains their most authentic and grounded. The overblown success of "End of the Road" diluted their sound and caused them to chase after the crossover "easy listening" market.

Yeah end of the road was such a big hit it broke elvis Presley record I don't think mainstream was something that they where chasing it just happened then they did I'll make love to you & on bended knee water runs dry thos song's made them even more mainstream because thos song's can relate more to just black people it's a gift & a curse I do like they first album tho
