Matt I throughly enjoyed your face as you pulled out the book. I appreciate the work you put in by the face of both pride and near disbelief! It was a great moment you shared with us and we, at least I, sincerely appreciated it! Thank you and Congratulations! Can't wait to get a copy!

I swear, watching you guys light up around the proofs of your book, it's like watching someone admire a newborn baby. Having read through the PDF, holy rapture, if this is your reaction to just a stapled signature and a few test covers, I look forward to the launch of the final print. Congratulations, you wild bunch! **[giddly sits back and bounces up and down on a chair in expectant glee for the DnD Livestream]**

I've been recovering from a pretty serious round of DM burnout (to the point where even Critical Role couldn't save me), but what helped me was when I went back to my other D&D roots: here. Thanks Matt for resparking my interest in Running the Game.

Matt, you have no idea how much I want a regular campaign diary produced specifically by you. The issue that I have following these amazing D&D streams is that I never have enough time to watch all of it. I want to be able to watch when I can but still be able to catch up when I miss an episode. So far it's all done by 3rd party work of people making highlights of Critical Role moments, and that's just not enough. Please do it!
@LassMIGS5 жыл бұрын
You just have to love the reactions of Matt and Anna. And you are totally right, Anna, this ist crazy. I think none of us could have imagined this over 2 years ago, when Matt started the race for 5000 subsrcibers. Last time he gave out two copies of Fantasy Grounds, but this time you all have given us so much more. Mere words are not enough to say how thankful I am for all of you, the people at MCDM, but of course for the hole community, that trusted a team, that had a vision and the guts to bring that vision to life. So that by now the vision, the dream hast become true and we all can live it. Thank you.

I've been putting off getting Strongholds and Followers (mostly because I'm super lazy). But after hearing about the war mechanics I'm like, "I NEEEED IIIIIIITTTTTT!" I plan to have the party involved in some large-scale battles, because there's going to be a coup in my yuan-ti nation at some point during the campaign. And if the party doesn't help the deposed queen take the crown back, it could spell dire consequences for not just the yuan-ti, but for the neighboring nation as well. I went ahead and pre-ordered the print copy because, well, I like books.

Greatest puzzle I ever ran was a door with a riddle lock. I snagged the riddle from a children's puzzle book I saw in a waiting room. 87 minutes of exhilarating debate later and the party is screaming, unhinged, and at each other's throats. Eventually one figures it out by yelling random nouns. The door swung open for them and the PCs began to search the funhouse dungeon (one of the PCs own mindscapes) for the deadly assassin lying in wait. I still can't believe that worked

I've just finished writing my newest campaign setting. I have very strong feelings on how it should be played and have done tons of work on the lore. Should I use it as a campaign setting or is it more sensible to try and write it up as a novel? I wanted to know the community's opinion.
