It’s not a good time to buy a house right now because the interest rate is very high .we tried since 7 months to buy a house 6.7 %interest rate and still coming up again .if u are cash buyer u can buy house easily otherwise it’s ver difficult.I don’t think most of the people can’t spend more than 3 crores for a normal house .if u have this much money stay in our country it’s a heaven .

UK needed to build 250,000 houses per year from 2012 which never happened. House building is controlled by big companies like Pesimmon and Taylor Wimpey who buy land in large scale and build houses in slowest possible pace ( release small batches at a time) to keep the supply tight. Currently the housing scenario is at it worst level and as affordability for young families is the least, the Conservative or Labour government would find it difficult to keep the housing out of reach for most of the public. Eventually government would be forced to build more houses. This would bring house prices down and most people who bought the houses for current high prices would be in negative equity.
