This movie won't help me. I gave my husband a 2nd chance and after 28 years, he left me at 66 for a man! Totally blindsided. I'm now 70 and can't afford a divorce and he won't give me one. I have no one now! 😭

Even though some ppl act like the devil, it's still the devil within that we are to hate and pray to God about, and it's not the person who is your enemy. That is the key. Sometimes when we don't do it this way, and treat the person as the enemy, God's hands are tied, because He's waiting for your obedience to do as He said, and pray for that person to be restored, and not be destroyed. I guess our real test of our maturity comes into play, with this one. Because as a child my first response would be God destroy that person. God winked at that as a child, but now He waits for me to give the right reaction. To pray for that person.

Forgiveness is a win/win situation! It's hard but SOOOO worth it! You feel so free when you do it. It's truly a gift to yourself.

I use to wonder why marriage is the hardest relationship to work on, and I know now is because it is the most valuable. It's the cornerstone. Family first. There are so many single folks jealous of some families, because they don't have one, they set out to destroy a family. And this can come from a family member, or ur best girlfriend, or best guyfriend. What helped me was remembering my vows. "For better or worse", which makes forgiveness easier, and understanding. Just never give up on your marriage, even if you have to become a Prov. 31 woman, which is sometimes what make the man see the jewel he has.

My wife left recently left and I rediscovered my own prayer closet! I actually slept in there last night because it's big enough and cozy. The bedroom is too lonely now and Elizabeth fell asleep in her war room while praying in the movie so I figured it was OK :)

Yes we too watched this movie a couple of years ago and have a prayer closet with prayers stuck all over! Praise God who's answering prayers 🙏

I believe God dealt with him and your husband made his choice. I dabbled in things as a teen that I shouldn’t have. But it did show me the enemy is very real. I feel for you as I almost lost my husband to an affair in 2017. It took a few years but we worked it out. (Married 20 years at the time). Gods not going to force anyone to have a relationship with him. This type of thing is so painful but He will give you a better life than before. I truly believe that.

Talk to God daily, talk to your pastor and allow God to continue to work in you first. Be honest with yourself and obey God and HIS word. Give your wife to God in prayer. Give her time to heal. God is faithful and HE loves you and your wife. Stay focus on God and give your marriage over to God. Be encouraged in the Lord.

How far away we are from the Bible where men were in authority over their wives and of course marriages were steady. God said to Eve He shall RULE OVER YOU But the wicked church system has wilfully silenced what GOD said and replaced it with feminism. TAKE THE HELM BACK again and God will be with you and for you.

God said He shall rule over you Genesis 3:16 but apparently what the Lord said is not enough anymore. Post modern Christians need silly fictions to get their marriage back on track. Women are getting more and more narcissisc because they are not ruled over anymore. They have no limit because men don't put any limit anymore. They are told to LOOOOOOOOOOOVE and nothing else. It is pure evil.

I know the pain (indescribable) and have dealt with one for years also. But I don't see what you're saying in Scripture. We know that nothing is too hard for the Lord. But whether or not they person chooses to change, the Lord can give you the grace, or power, to do what's right and get through anything if you ask Him. That's what I see in Scripture, and that's what I've experienced every time I've been wise enough to do it.The Lord shows me how to view the situation and what to say and do that unlock the whole thing, which I could never do by myself. Doesn't the Bible say that God always causes us to triumph in Christ? If you trust what the Lord says, He will do it! Through prayer, I've also seen God miraculously get through to the person in ways I couldn't when you thought nothing would work. Sometimes it was a dream, sometimes a thought, but it changed things. That isn't to say everything is suddenly easy because you're doing what's right. But I know this for sure: living with the consequences of doing what's wrong is much harder, even if it seems like a relief at first. So many times I didn't feel like forgiving, and I could only do it after submitting to God, as an act of obedience, but it released me as well as the person. Tust and obey! Simple, but not always easy.

Hi Chris, I truly understand what your saying but there are some people who are never going to change no matter how much wisdom and grace is given. One thing is that God won't violate a person's will. It's says in scripture "if it is possible as much as lies with you be at peace with all men" also in proverbs it says "the wise woman build her house but the foolish woman pulls down her house with her own hands" for 37 years in my marriage it was a loop of love bombing, devaluation, withholding, triangulation,projecting etc. Almost 4 decades. I'm a Pastor and I sought the Lord daily, nightly literally 24/7 I cared for my ex like nobody has in spite of all my efforts she just continued the horrible treatment. Sometimes there are people The Lord will eventually will hand over to a reprobate mind, so you need to take the whole scripture to get understanding and wisdom. People will always say God Hates divorce and He does but he also hates pride and many other sins like lying, lusting, cheating, slander etc.

Have you ever read 1 Co 7:4/5 that says that a married woman has NO power over her body but her husband has ? Do you ignore that the Lord HATES it when a man is overruled by his wife ? DFo you realise that God urges men to REPENT for letting their wives run the show by just "caring" for her and nothing else ? How can men put up with such bad behaviour ? You think that the Lord puts up with bad behaviour and that he does not overpower our will and crushes us down in order to stop ? It's YOUR job as a husband to NOT let a woman rule over you. Give no power to a woman to not trample upon your dignity Sirach says. Sirach is not a book of the Bible anymore , yet what it says is absolute truth. What those so called Christian movies advocate is nothing but unscriptural chivalry and feminism in disguise. It places the husband UNDER the wife and at the mercy of the wife. It is wicked to the bones ! It is demonic.
