Who here is excited for the reunion??? Just a friendly reminder that Occy doesn't get out of quarantine for another week. I am then going to enjoy some much overdue catch up time with him before working on the video so the reunion video itself may be a couple of weeks away ❤️ Cannot wait to see that floof!

When I was in line at the airport to check in my 6 pound, 16yr-old dachshund - who would not stop yapping from his carry-on - I looked down at him. I had spent hundreds of dollars on vets & paperwork & planefare. I told him, "If you die four days after we arrive, I will not be happy." Bless his heart, Guinness lasted two full years in retirement with me! Getting Occy home - priceless!

was surfing around world for 18 months when i was young....when i called home from france folks said they were putting my 16 year old cairn terrior down.....hadnt been able to walk for 3 weeks....I said no...packed my tent and got 1st flight back to Ny...walked in door and he was bouncing off walls jumping to see me...bought a house for him when folks started griping....got a year but worth it.....best friend i ever had...rip peanut

Awh, can't wait for the reunion. Have my tissues ready. 😂 Van is looking sooooooo good. Really crisp and professional. I think it is seriously my favourite van ever because I adore that bathroom and don't think anyone can out do it. Can't wait to see the finishing touches and for you and Occy to move in and start travelling and living again. You deserve the best Max, you have been a trooper and have worked so hard on creating a beautiful new home for you both. Onwards and upwards and thanks for helping to keep us all sane during these unprecedented times.

That sweet boy is worth EVERY PENNY. I can’t wait to see him. He’s one of the sweetest, smartest dogs around. He loves you and you him. Money isn’t important in getting him home with you.

Thumbs up to Lee & family. Occy was definitely loved and enjoyed. I remember it cost $6K to get him to Canada so it makes sense it cost a bit more to get him back. I am beyond excited for the reunion. I hope this next week flies by.

so glad you are finally getting reunited with Occy...Hawaii has the same quarantine guidelines with the animals kept in a cage which is never good for them...this was back in the 60's and I can remember going everyday to visit with our dog.....you are one heck of a guy to have parted with your dog in the first place...and shared him with Lee...I hope you never have to be parted again...

I am so excited for you and Occy! I know that I need my baby floof (Pomeranian) at my feet and by my side all day and night and even one day apart would be too much, so I can't imagine how much you miss him. And I'd pay that much for my dog, too. My dog is my best friend by far, they're worth the best effort we can give them in every way. I'm so glad it's almost time for your reunion, I subbed months ago and have been waiting for the day with great anticipation. Way to go with finishing the new home, too. I can't wait for new Max and Occy adventures!

As someone who used to work at the live animal quarantine station I can attest to how dedicated the staff are to caring for Occy. It’s true they usually only contact the owner if something is wrong because they are so busy caring for the animals they don’t have time to talk to the owners unless it’s essential. But rest assured the carers work with the animals because they love them and Occy will be very well cared for

You should flip the PowerPoint at the back of your van so when you get plugs that are rectangular shaped they still plug in, otherwise the won’t plug in because the bench is in the way, looks good !!!!!!

Love the tile & the LED lighting! My husband put that in our kitchen. I love it! Especially in the evening. It really highlights my antique glassware I have sitting up on top of my cupboards. looks awesome man, word of advice your may want to install a trap in the sink (its a little loop u shaped pipe under the sink, water pools there and blocks smells from wherever you drain to) or your entire van will probably smell like the gray water tank, im no professional but 100% you should look into it, it should not be expensive or hard.

Yep, I think it’s ridiculous how much airlines and quarantine place can charge. I’m flying back with two small kittens inside the cabin with me at my feet in a few days. They are considered to be one of my two free carry on bags, yet the airline is charging me $100!?!?!? Occy, I can’t wait to see you home🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

You might want to install a P trap under your sink to keep the smells from the gray tank out of the van! Just a suggestion, good luck!

We picked ouf dog up from quarantine and the poor littke girl was seriously dehydrated, Make sure you take plenty of water and some nice decent food for your pup. She made it okay but was traumatised afrer the long trip and life in a cage with no close family. Best of luck with your beautiful dog.

That's great news about Occy, I can't wait to see him again. As for the trim around the back doors, maybe try velcro'ing some auto carpet on to the white painted metal. It's thin easy to trim carpet that looks good when used to cover up gaps and the velcro will allow easy access. Good luck Matt, until the next one 👍👍

Glue magnets to the trim and they'll stay in place. No drilling and can remove to run wires etc. Saw that on Humbleroad Channel.

I'm so bloody stressed, I had my Boomer in quarantine just for a day, it was awful! He was shaking he came out and covered in urine! However, that was at the US border. Boomer is a Chocolate Lab that is now 14 xoxoxo So I know how you are feeling with Oc being there for 10 days!
