I do not feel any empathy for this man. He humiliated his wife in public & in front of his mistress. He moved in with his mistress despite being married. When his life fell apart and his mistress sold him out, it was his wife who was there for him. I'm am glad she showed him what he threw away before divorcing him. She handled herself well in the face of letting him go. I hope there will be more dramas where the woman is portrayed in a more strong light.

I love the way the wife handled the separation from the husband. Love their ending too. In most cdramas, husband is forgiven after asking for forgiveness. In this drama, the wife is strong and does not want to go back to the cheating husband. The way she was slapped by the husband in front of the mistress to me is unforgivable and cohabiting with the mistress while still married is a no no. He should have waited to be divorced before living in with the mistress. His losing his job and getting sick is a wake up call for him but too late to go back to his wife and kid.

The fact that he had the audacity to act like it was crazy for her to want a divorce, and that she wasn't thinking of their child.. when he literally said he was willing to divorce her after breaking their vows and physically abusing his wife. As if it was selfish for a victim to want to end a relationship, but for the abuser it was completely normal. He's so toxic and a bit of a narcissist. It wouldn't bother me as much if this were unrealistic, but partners who cheat often behave this way, and blame the person who holds them accountable for their own actions.

Funny, he didn't think of his wife and daughter at all during the cheating but he sure brings her up as a way to try to keep her around. But the wife showed him by saying she won't hurt herself for her daughter and i totally agree with that. Now i dont have kids but if you stay in a relationship like this one where you are unhappy or unable to forgive/forget then the one who pays the price isnt just you its the children too b/c they see the parents unhappy and grow up thinking that's how family is suppose to be.
