It’s much more painful to be betrayed and cheated on then a simple breakup and being honest of no longer having feelings for that person. Unless they are just using that person then it’s a whole new level of evil creepy kind of betrayal.

This reminds me of my ex ... After 6 years of getting cheated on several ways... When I decided to give up on that relationship.. All he did was to blame me that I never tried to understand him ... I was the one in fault... That's why he cheated.he flirted. And then within 2 weeks he starting dating another girl.... One thing ,I always believed in God... Even though I was in pain... I still believed God did the best for me... ❤️ After getting over that dark time .. i again found myself and realised if you're a good person .... God will be there for u and will always give u the best more than u think.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love it when the cheater has this conversation. It's like being found out finally gave them the "courage" to say all what they should have said before they chose to cheat. Yes there is problems in the relationship but instead of forcing the hard examinations and conversations to take place, why don't I just do something stupid that only stands to show how weak minded and poorly built my character is. Real life lesson: cheating is way more preferable than having a hard conversation and it works out so well! 👍👏

There are millions of women all over the world whose husbands are busy building businesses and forging careers, often working long hours or away on business trips. When your self-love is non-existent, you cling on to a relationship for everything. If you love yourself enough, letting go a relationship that is not working isn't gonna feel like the end of the world. It is normal to develop differences in a relationship that either cannot be solved without one of the parties breaking down completely or both have developed repulsion towards each other. It is okay to let go and move on. There's no need to cling on to it, then go around cheating and then guilt trip others. This conversation could have been useful before he went about cheating. He could have told her he loves her but it's not working. If she was ready to change, fine. If she wasn't, they could have broken up. It's okay to breakup if things aren't working. What's stupid is trying to justify being a cheater later. You lose the last shred of mutual respect when you do that.

This...in a weird way feels like an adult conversation happening too late. Where they both had issues in the relationship but instead of fixing it, having a conversation about it. He decided that he could find affection elsewhere instead of talking about it. I don't think he's wrong in saying that they had problems, and he was stressed out and she was focused on her job and not him. Tons of people have this problem. The issue is that if you don't talk about what you need, you don't get it. No one is a mind reader in a relationship. But that gives no reason to cheat, ever. You made the choice to a childhood friend, and partner. You knew her weaknesses and decided she'd get over it on her own? He just wasn't thinking over his hurt ego of not being first in her life.

There are 2 people involved in a relationship. Society, and people in general, tend to forget that. "It takes two to tango" is the common phrase. In this instance, they are both at fault for the breakdown of their relationship, but he is 100% at fault for his infidelity. He claimed that she was always busy when he tried to talk to her. Well if he really cared, he would have moved heaven and earth to find that minuscule portion of time he needed. And then, if it still didn't work out, break up then so that he could start another relationship with a clear conscious. But he didn't. Most cowards don't.

His “logic” is interesting: one of ‘em has to sacrifice, and according o his logic she’s the one to do that . He’s pursuing his work goals, going abroad, and wants her to quit her job (when she’s just now in a good position of getting into the department she s been working so hard for )Her going with him was to keep him company. She never begrudged him the chance to chase his dream and was willing to wait for him . And she did. His sacrificing to support her was never an option in his thinking. He has the kind of support he wants: the schemer in his bed now who was with him overseas, he poorer who deliberately left he phone on making sure her presence was revealed to her rival.

I'm sorry but the "I feel lonely, underappreciated, or like not your priority" are not excuses to cheat, reasons for a breakup yeah sure but trying to justify your unloyal self by playing the poor victim card is not it, regardless of gender you should own up to you wrongdoings & face the consequences of your actions & choices, a thing this character refused to do, he could have tried to talk to her first to maybe fix things or just break up with her & move on but no he choose to cheat instead if he found the time & effort to cheat, he could find the time & put the effort to try to talk or break up with her first, the "you were always busy" along with all his other "reasons" are nothing more than excuses.

It doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl if they fell out of love for whatever reason it may be, coz their partner is busy, didn't care or etc speak the issues , work on it , if it won't work then break up, why to cheat and then blame everything on em, when sometimes they actually thought they are having a good relationship, and have no clue that some things done or not done by em of which they have no clue about how they affected their partner and bothered em. If they want to act so righteous after cheating why to cheat in the first place ? The excuses they come up with omg.. He had time and guts to have an affair and hid it from her but couldn't tell her how he was feeling or break up after getting a new woman, him saying she is busy to talk to as an excuse is utter nonsense, he could have gone to her like he did now. But he ran today coz he can't take all the blame so he gotta put some on her no entire blame on her .. Hmmm...in a way, the guy is giving good points. Relationship needs both commitment for it to work out. Not one person always giving, compromising or at the rejection end.
