It’s early April in my Vista succulent garden and everything is popping OFF!! I wanted to show you the beauty of my growing things. Succulents are the most beautiful, exotic and forgiving plants on the planet. I’m eager to share some of my beauties with lucky winners at our next Succulent Tapestry 101 Virtual Workshop on Saturday April 20th!

It's amazing how fast the plants grow. My favorites are the Fred Ives, Mission to mars, variegated attenuata, and agavoides and oh, I just love them all. I look forward to the walkabout Wednesdays.

Beautiful garden for sure, I like cacti and succulents a lot but living in northern New England I can’t plant any in the ground although my wife and have quite a few in our home. Do you on occasion find any golf balls in your garden? You could incorporate them into your design but I doubt that’s an aesthetic you are going for. lol. I enjoy seeing your incredible plants. Thanks for the video.

We’ve had a couple delightful days in low 70’s in Cherry Valley (San Gorgonio Pass) but we might get snow Thursday night and Friday!! Yikes!!

Your own garden is gorgeous, and much more to my liking than those of some of your clients who may have more cactus, fewer decorative things, and not such a full look. I would just love to win something from your succulent garden to add to mine! Apparently more rain is on the way, so once again I won't be able to do what I want to do outdoors.

You garden is very gorgeous. Thank you for sharing. I have a question. I have an aloe infested with aloe might I know you have mentioned before how to treated can you please tell me again I really appreciate it

Sorry to hear this! If ore than 50% of the plant is affected, you should dispose of it. Remember, aloe ore can and will spread to other specie s in your garden. Place plant in plastic bag before disposing and sterilize any tools used in the extraction. As a preventative, I use Bayer tree and shrub liquid systemic in the spring and fall to protect my plants. Good luck!

Thank you so much good thing is only one little tiny aloe. I hope it’s not spread. I will follow those instructions. I have such a beautiful garden. I do not want no more damage. Specially, in the aloes😢😢

I wish we can read the names of these succulents...theyre do beautiful! Too bad we can't enjoy them outdoors here in Canada...and need to have a mini greenhouse inside the house to keep them alive in winter😢

Really beautiful! I would love you to see my yard and give me suggestions. Some things are getting pretty overgrown and I'm not quite sure what and how to thin some of it out. Some probably has to go and it is very difficult for me to determine these things. Overall I love my yard but some of it has me paralyzed in terms of what to do with it.
