I genuinely think one day I will have this kind of relationship. My whole being has being crying out for something like this to happen, whether I have realised it or not. I am meant for it.
@badassassets89015 жыл бұрын
Sorry I don't mean to seem cocky. I just NEED this to happen because I know that deep down I am pure love and crazy sexuality and divine sensuality. Loneliness is really missing yourself: you are not expressing yourself in loneliness, although maybe some do because there can be a beauty in painful love at a distance. I thought something like this would happen to me last summer because I had had an amazing spiritual transformation but it didn't because I just kind of disconnected and got lost. But this summer I feel I more than want it I need it. There is a fire in me now for it which you need to really pursue your life and need let it go astray whereas I had become more like water in the past - pure, deep, alive, sensual, but perhaps too gentle with life. Life is something that needs a certain amount of attack - like Elio, if you think about it, pursues Oliver more so than Oliver who is more distant and secretive at the start. I deserve a great love story, of that one amazing summer. Oh I'm just going to really beg God because the universe does listen and if I demand and desire it with all my heart things start to work mysteriously for you. I don't know how but this is my life and my life, I promise you, will be a song.

Suffice it to say I’m having a rough time typing this through a deluge of tears. I never saw my self as a sissy. But I’m crying like a little girl. What happened to Armie and Timmy’s real life friendship? That seemed as real to me as the movie moved me emotionally.

@@eternamarcos2467 I don’t believe anything written about anyone in Hollywood. It always turns out to be fake. Look at Kevin Spacey. He was accused of pedophelia by the press and the “me too movement” of lying hyenas. Had you heard Spacey was tried and was exonerated on all 8 or nine charges. The allegations were just made up. Armie is innocent of cannibalism. Or Timmy would be gone for sure. Eaten by the man who turned him…into an actor. It’s a shame what the free press gets away with in the name of the Bill of Rights.

This movie. Describes the feeling of love and what the consequences of love can give when it is wrong to happen at a certain time. Especially, with the situation of Elio and Oliver, considering of age and sexual orientation. As we all know, love can't be stopped when it happens to be felt. Love is a feeling of every emotions, colliding to become one. They were both confused with the feeling until it grew more and more. To the point, they have to be away from each other, due to fear. Their love was something magical. We can't really romanticize such relationship, when its also inappropriate when it comes to what I have mentioned in the first sentence. The summer they spent, wasn't what they regretted. It was the summer, where they felt something beyond the euphoric line. The movie is truly, hurtful, yet beautiful. It is honestly, one of the good movies out there. It gives a moral lesson and I suppose every each one of us know what it is already.

This movie is a masterpiece & you are the actors. But there's something about Timmy & Armie which seems so surreal. Is it possible to just act & not fall in love with each other? If so then how? the aftertaste of this movie never goes away, at least not for me. it gives me so much nostalgia whenever I watch clips of it. I watched call me by your name a year or so after it came out, and haven't stopped thinking about it ever since.

The first time I seen this movie was over winter break of last year. I watched it three more times over the rest of my break. Idk I just wanted a happy ending 😭

İn the book story is even worser than the movie,because in the book Oliver calls him like the movie but then they keep talking and one day Oliver invites him to his house to met his wife and his kids

It was beautiful and even more so after October 7. This show is about two Jews in love. Even though it goes against the precepts of religion I find no fault in it. Perhaps even I’m looking for the perfect Jewish man. Love is love is love. Even for Jews. Now that Jews are becoming endangered it has a whole new meaning. עם ישראל חי!

And the author of the book/story is Muslim! ❤ Egyptian.
@davidfryer93595 ай бұрын
@@Xgenerati that is absurd. He is not Egyptian. He was born in Egypt to a Turkish father and an Italian Mother. They were all Sephardic JEWS not Muslim. They moved from Egypt to Italy were there are many many more Jews there. Never were they ever Muslim. He speaks Ladino. The language of Sephardic Jews.

Is it horrible that when Lana said “it’s all for you everything I do” and “heaven is a place on earth with you” I pointed at Timothée? He saved my life. Literally and figuratively he is such a blessing to me and this world. He has such a kind heart and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him I love Tim so much❤️🍑

the peach is perfect until it's picked, or falls, from the tree, but in either case will never be part of the tree again....life is not necessarily over for the peach or the tree; but they will never again have a shared life-force energy....but go on, to give or expend their energy in new ways...it is both beautiful and tragic...it's you, it's you, it's all for you. thank you
