Master Duel loves playing pranks like that, where a card you removed becomes something that would be immediately relevant one matchup afterwards if you still had it. But don't let that trick you into thinking you just got rid of something you need.

I think it was a very defensible play. He had no idea when the opponent would draw into something playable, and wasting the IDP on reducing the clock could easily have lost him the game.

7:57 - I did. ...And resolved it. ...Gryphon's Feather Duster too! ...In the same *game!* ...Once. ...In a gimmick deck that was built to facilitate their use for content... 22:30 - ...You had *NO* right to win that game: Strike 1: Contemplating using Beargrum's effect against a Monster with a destructive Omni Negate. Strike 2: Setting Solitary Sword for no reason against a deck notorious for summoning a monster that destroys backrow. Strike 3: Not using Ice Dragon's Prison during the opponent's end phase to bring back Infinity, equip it with Solitary for safety, and attacking for damage while you were constantly *BEGGING* for a monster because every turn your opponent would get closer and closer to unbricking. Strike 4: Summoning RESONANCE INSECT to inflict 1000 damage when you had _3400_ available via Beargrum because you had the means to summon it, and your opponent would've been dead by then because Infinity would've put them in lethal range. 22:48 - Yeah, if only you'd ended the game earlier and won more points by say... I don't know... Inflicting 3k+damage so you could get 500 duel result points, giving you another shot at a Legacy Pack? 23:45 - I definitely won't argue with the "out of our mind" part of that statement...

WHY DO YOU KEEP GOING SECOND CIMOOO PLEASE. So much of your deck is trap cards and quick play spells that can stop your opponents turn. Even that floo game if he didn't have advent he would have had to pass his turn if you chalice'd him and if you draw Draco-Utopian Aura in your opening hand, the turn can just end in general. There is also a chance that they scoop because they can't play anymore.

Absolutely. If he could more consistently OTK, there'd be an argument for going second, but as it is, setting trap cards is more valuable.

...Because drawing another card is absurdly useful, going to the battle phase when an opponent bricks is super valuable, and not agonizing for 20 minutes for simple plays when you can just see that your opponent is playing something broken and quit immediately saves a lot of time?

You have to start a new account for a true masochist run(this way pulls from other play sessions won't be in your card pool during masochist) so you don't even need your old master duel login.

Not sure if you were saving it purposefully or not, but in your match with cyberdragons, you had a set ice dragon's prison, which can special from the opponent's grave. I'm unsure if you realize but: The banish on that card is optional and you don't need another opponent's monster on the field. During that time you had a bunch of turns without action, you could've flipped it to grab Zieger or infinity and you probably would've finished the guy off before the play where you use it. It's a really good card for the fact you can just steal their cards even if you don't banish them!

I don’t know if it’s been done yet bet a series where you play using any of the structure decks (except the swordsoul one) at ONE copy and making your way up the ladder upgrading the deck after every win. Basically masochist but arguably starting off better 👍🏾

Box of friends is actually alright-ish depending on the deck. It just needs 2 monsters with 0 atk or def. It’s a decent XYZ maker/defender.

In the last game if he had gone for the Insect link monster he could have linked IK and that for Ra'ten and equipped the Solitary Sword for a huge ass Ra'ten that also pops a monster in BP

I have a crazy idea here. What if you got together as many content creators as you could together with there masochist and dueled each other and who ever won was allowed to open master but also allowed to craft and put in the boss monster of the opponents deck into there own deck if they want. We'd have our own duel city arc right there. I'd call it "Master City Arc".

Man, Cyber Dragon is such a weird deck. One day it takes a dump on a full board Snake Eyes, the next one it loses to a masochist. It's just so inconsistent and desperately needs more support but it's so much fun and I absolutely love it, it's my third favourite deck of all times after pure Machina and Ancient Gears.

I learned my lesson about botanical girl long ago back in duel links when I used to run her on my aroma deck And I missed my timing and I just couldn't understand why. It threw me off to see her on ur deck hehehe yeah she is good when there r no chains or any effects following after she gets popped.

To answer your question about core, the answer is, unfortunately, no. It can't search Overload Fusion since it isn't a cyber spell/trap. It can search Cyberload Fusion which kind of pairs nicely with Overload.
