Soldiers rescued a man clinging to a fence in a flooded area in the city of Porto Alegre. Emergency workers also rescued a horse that had been trapped for days on a rooftop. More than 165,000 people have been displaced from flooded homes and rescued by boats and helicopters, with many taking refuge at makeshift shelters.

E você acreditou nessa mentira? Quando a pessoa morre na água ela afunda, geralmente leva vários dias para o corpo começar a boiar. Eu vi esse áudio já no primeiro dia de enchente. A pessoa estava mentindo para chocar, pare de acreditar em tudo que vê na Internet.

O Exercito e os bombeiros estão sim ajudando, mas vc tem que entender que o nível da gravidade é desproporcional a quantidade de bombeiros e exército na região, seria necessário mobilizar companhias inteiras pra uma situação dessa magnitude, o que seria perigoso, pois deixaria outras regiões desguarnecidas , por isso o povo que é em maior número , se desteca , mas não é como se só eles ajudassem, nessa magnitude de desastre natural, qualquer exército do mundo não daria conta!

As a Brazilian, I thank the Army for rescuing over 60,000 people, including families and babies, as well as more than 7,000 animals, and for distributing over 100 tons of food. I am grateful to all the donors. As for the current president of Brazil, I believe his actions have caused great suffering to the people, as have those of Alexandre de Moraes. A princípal mídia brasileira, chama da Rede Globo tava esperando o show da Madona acabar para noticiar a tragédia que estava ocorrendo. The delay for the government and the armed forces to move to the state of Rio Grande do Sul is unforgivable. If it weren't for the civilians' battle, the human losses would be greater. The main Brazilian media, called Rede Globo, was waiting for the Madonna show to end to report the tragedy that was occurring.

It's not uncommon to flood some regions in this state (there's like 80 rivers and lakes crossing it, that's why the state is called "big river of the south") but the only other flood that was this disastrous was one in the 40s that took months to flood entire cities. Climate change makes this kind of natural phenomenons more extreme, this flood that's happening rn covered almost the entire state in a week to have an idea

I can't really make out the beginning of the sentence, but it ended with "atacaram a Ucrânia mano" (they've attacked Ukraine man). ALIAS, o governo quando apareceu por aqui foi pra barrar e multar caminhões com doações, impedir socorristas de colocar barcos na água, atrapalhar e dificultar a distribuição de alimentos, dar tiro 3M cidadãos que salvavam comida de estabelecimentos inundados para si, consumir o lanche dos voluntários, se negar a colocar veículos em serviço, encalhar nas várzeas e alagamentos ficando a depender de ajuda junto com as vítimas, saturar as operações com movimento e ocupação de uma presença totalmente inútil, etc, etc, etc. Vc quer negar essa realidade para que ela não respingue em um certo ex-presidiário que certamente ajudou a eleger.

Despite the fact that only the army and firefighters appears in the video, 99% of the work is being done by the civilian population. The government only showed up to make the job more difficult, holding donations, closing feeding points and even giving tickets to volunteers without a boat license. The army arrived with boats without engines and they had to be rescued by the volunteers.

Cloud seeding has never been necessary in Brazil. Instead, the rain that typically falls across various regions of the country originates in the south and migrates northward. However, this year, an unprecedented heatwave in São Paulo, Paraná, and Mato Grosso do Sul has hindered this northward movement, resulting in rain falling only in one state instead of across multiple regions and states as usual.

People trying to blame Brazil for climate change. Which makes me believe that there is a disinformation campaign taking place to justify some foreign action in Brazilian territory. We live in a globalized world, with practically unrestricted access to information. Why do they continue to support the fallacy of deforestation in the Amazon? Brazil preserves around 60-65% of its native vegetation, in addition to having a mostly clean energy matrix. 80% renewable energy generation. Meanwhile, Europe, Canada and the United States devastated their forests. Why don't you look at your own actions before criticizing us?

The State of Ceará used to do this until the 2000's but stopped by the insufucient results. Besides that, Uruguai and Chile started doing it last year or something...
