Aside from the Killings , which was obviously a very serious Crime . the BANKS were the True Thieves though .. they would not only STEAL the Property but also the OIL under It , and make a very handsome Profit .. not sure how it works but if a Bank REPOS your Land, they dont pay you a DIME for the Oil under it . but yeagh, if you Sold it at a Fire Sale , MAYBE you get 20 cents on the dollar , cuz its still speculation.. once you Prove the Oil is there , only then does it have real Value . and Proving the Oil is there, requires those PUMPS , which costs Money, which they did not have .. or i could be wrong.

I was with a friend of mines stripper sister and I offered to drive her out to Amarillo for a job. I could not see her making that journey on her own. Taught the beauty of the desert in the Magic hour photography wise. But it is truly hell in Mid Day. Bought the car i have now because of it. Fj cruiser desert rated a.c. I'm going to be more observant next time to look for the dip.

I got family in Detroit like that. We’ve been poor our whole lives and my brothers and I managed to eek by, now doing ok but not middle class or at all rich. It’s hard seeing our cousins and uncles/aunts try to make ends meet. We try to help whenever we can but we have our own kids to provide for. When people say “pull yourselves up by your bootstraps” honestly do not know what it’s like having nothing and coming from nothing. MLK said it best “how are you gonna tell someone to pull themselves up by their bootstraps when they don’t even have a boot to begin with”

@@axx012not really. Maybe in us but in Asia, the divide is getting bigger. It's known that most of the big name products are made in third world countries and paid shit. No minimum wage etc. No union. No rules. So, what's the incentive to close that gap? The bosses earn the profits and get greedier. Also, sure to globalisation, people now go to other countries and compete for jobs which would be reasonably paid. They can work longer hours and for lesser pay. Hence, making the gap bigger.

It's great that the movie ends right there. Given Hamilton's character, and given the fact that Toby is, in fact, just as responsible as his dumb brother for the death of Hamilton's friend -- I don't think that Hamilton would leave this alone. He'll find Toby again and go out in a "blaze of glory" one way or the other.
