I know this is a episode I have to keep listening too as a reminder because I’m super new in my faith and was only getting caught up in the place. Wow I really been beat up in the spirit these past 2 years but after hearing this I really don’t have a plan and I can actually say this with excitement 😂 I don’t want my way anymore because God’s way is gonna blow my mind 🙌🏾

The Lord continues to speak through Tim and Preston, together and separately, to minister to me and my family. I needed the reminder that work is a necessary part of the path.

I was literally talking to my boss (who is a lead pastor) today about preaching. I told her I don't hear many preachers talk about their process only their results. She told me about her process which was a blessing to me and now to listen to you two talk about your process which is confirming what my boss told me is blowing my mind right now. I AM SO GLAD IT IS NOT JUST ME and I am glad God heard my heart cry about this because I have been STRUGGLING. Thank you Preston and Tim for this. A lot of seasoned preachers don't talk about their process that's why we (new upcoming preachers) think we have to be in front of people to preach. I have been in the wait for almost 4 years now, sharing my journey on social media platform with little views. It can get discouraging at times, when I listen to you I get filled up and I can hold on and not let go. God has been impressing in my heart to complete my second book, when I have been waiting for Him to lead me on publishing the first one I felt He told me to write. I can sense urgency on completing this book and I regret the time I wasted having a pity party because He was not doing things the way I had hoped. It’s so true when you say we must enjoy the time of being hidden, that it is a kiss on the forehead ❤

that Genesis 26: 12-22 scripture was much needed. I would move with this underlying expectation that my gift would bring me the results that were promised to me, and would resist to redirection that God has been calling me to do. As a result it kept me stuck and the grit aspect was constantly being overlooked. It definitely checked me and motivates me to realign with my purpose for God and my community instead of the results of what’s to come. Another awesome video from you both

Thank you for this conversation. Somehow, I got the idea that God will allow His promises to come into my life without me having to work very hard for it. It actually does not make sense how this idea got lodged because in the systems of the world, I was very diligent working hard and long. We must prepare!

Vision - First thank you sooo much for this content. I'm in a servant-leadership that is a little bit more visible than previous seasons of hiddenness; and your video is a bookshelf of timely counsel. Speaking of bookshelf, you two should consider hooking up with the organization that transcribes sermons into books (or an organization like it) and transcribe all of your episodes together. What I envision is not so much a book with chapters, but an encyclopedia of sorts. A playbook/handbook of leadership protocols. OR, Pastor Preston, the handbook could come under your sole stewardship and then there are sections of the encyclopedia with the various guests you've had. I've only watched the ones with Pastor Tim, but I'm sure you've picked other great guests. By 2 cents and a dollar. Continued Blessings!

When I received one of my greatest blessings from the Lord, there is a time of awe and gratitude. But a truth that remained in me is that God wouldn’t bring me this far, pull me out of that hell for me to just retire kick back and relax. But what is important is that I do not let society define my work ethic (aka hustle until your soul is depleted) I work for the lord and in the pace he tells me to and we know the pace Jesus took to perform the greatest work on Earth.

Isn’t this the dude that compared Jesus on the cross to a stripper? Regardless…. Yes, God gives, and usually a good gift comes with responsibility. I heard once that to the old Hebrew people, work & worship were viewed as one in the same. Avodah is the Hebrew word, and was used in Gen 2 for Adam to work the land. The same word is also interchangeable with worship in other instances. I could be wrong but I think that all work is a form of worship. Work, whether for a check, or the work of ministry, it’s all really for God.
