We've always wondered what Trevi does when we're out. Here is an hour and a half of Trevi condensed into 8 minute and 49 seconds and set to Rhapsody in Blue.

You'd be surprised how a companion dog will calm Trevi and they will keep each other happy while left alone - and with you!

I filmed my three when they were left home alone. All they do is sleep. Occasionally my female jumps over the pet gate to steal cat food.

I have 6 IGs and have set up a wireless camera system so I can see what's going on on my iPhone and on my Mac, while I'm away....I love how Trevi looked at himself in the mirror....

Separation anxiety in moving pictures. Healthy dogs would rarely, voluntarily separate from their pack.

solitary confinement, no personal stuff, crying all the time...8(
It looks like your IG and mine have a lot in common, no need to set up a video camera to know he's checking the counters every 5 minutes to make sure there are no snacks within bouncing range!

Why do people feel compelled to put music into videos that don't need or fit it ?

Poor little guy. He should have ripped up a few books in the book shelf or chewed the couch for some fun...or the shoes. Yep he needs a doggy friend. Its a ling day on your own most especially if your an Italian Greyhound.

I am surprised (how I spell it from where I am from)no one applauded the cinema verite angle.
@jlmusic2myears16710 жыл бұрын
Hi! Have you thought to give your pup something to play with & chew to keep busy while you are at school/work. Perhaps music playing softly. And most canine experts agree a healthy option is to have a crate with a blanket of your scent in it for her to retreat to and relax to perhaps nap instead of filling her time with anxious & repetitive movements for 8plus hours. Perhaps you have already provided these easy comforts for your little dog who neither barks or tears up anything but only succeeds at stretching seemingly endless hours with sniffing, pacing and quivering at the sound of other tenants. its 1 and a half hours, not 8!
@jlmusic2myears16710 жыл бұрын
to your pup, it probably seemed endless... But that aside (since you are minimizing its pain) it is almost a perfect piece of cinema verite...the cold almost prisonlike space of humans being extrapolated by the silent hound

John Denny Seeing as you don't know these people or their home how can you say this dog doesn't have a bed/crate and a healthy selection of toys out of shot of camera?
@jlmusic2myears16710 жыл бұрын
Because the poor thing is running around as if he is in the wrong apartment. Who are you someone's mother?

I'm not minimising anything. An hour alone is an hour alone. You're looking for attention, as if you're a puppy yourself.

+khandfmafan We have one . . . we adopted him five years ago when he was five. They are not an easy dog to own, We've had two min pins and one toy fox and have had these over 20 year period, and by far the iggys are the most difficult and costly dog. Ours came to us in good health but they have bad teeth and many of friends have had to pay lots of money on dentals and they can easily break their legs. They have sensative stomachs and need to eat high quality (expensive foods). Do some research, and if you still want one, adopt, one that is over 3 years old. Before that they can easily break legs if not contained. Ours want's constant attention which is ok as I am stay at home mom and he and min pin get a lot, but you will never go to bathroom alone. Adoption is cheaper and you can get a great dog there if you so choose. We do get stopped at park constantly by people who think our boy is beautiful and can't belive he just turned 11 in sept.
@wilmachaffin85178 жыл бұрын
Well you sound like a responsible dog owner but with dentals costing 400 bucks a pop most people say well, I just don' have the money for that and his food that costs us 20 bucks a month and then the vacinations and heartworm preventives. Five is still young but on my iggy facebook groups when they get 11 and older they loose teeth get cancers and many bone type problems and that's when people dump them off at rescues. Mine was dumped by his grandparents who couldn't handle him after their daughter died who took very good care of him. You gotta do your homework about them. We have had two min pins and was one of our first dogs. he was very difficult and they say not for beginners. But we dealt with his ways and the second is much better, I suggest get one from rescue try it out and they will give you a trial period and if they fit then keep it and so much cheaper than paying 800 for pup plus fixing and puppy shots. Get a rescue then you have someone to help with questions.

We took our boy in Monday as he has small bump come up on his back and our vet took tissue sample expecting it to be a normal cyst but she was perplexed so the vet who does his cleaning, She only charges around 200 gonna take if off and send to lab at the end of the month when we take him in. He's 11 and half and she said since it came up so fast could just be inflammation but they can do lab until it is taken off and he has to be asleep so just do both at one time. They are a delilcate breed unlike our min pins who are pretty tough.

+Wilma Chaffin We had a min pin and a Manch.terrier and the min pin had epilepsy, the terrier had cancer, started with one bump that was supposed to be nothing. but I think we were just terribly unlucky. I don't have a dog now, both lived long lives even though they had issues.,and medicines helped alot! I've been thinking about getting an iggy since i'm home alot, and vet's are not super expensive where I live. I'd want one that likes to spend time with me, I think a dog that acts like you're not there is pointless to have☺ Hope your dog is ok❤

my Italian greyhound just passed a week ago today. We had vet come to our house to make it a less stressful experience. it started with small bump and feeling he was thinner but losing no weight so when vet x ray him she found large tumors in his chest that she couldn't get out and she aspirated the bump and it looked like cancer and so we brought him home and treated him like a king and took them somewhere everyday like home depot or pets store and park and fed him what he could eat as it pushed against his esophagus. So he was the most loving dogs and got at 5 as rescue and he was 11.5 but they say it is genetic? but have had two min pins and toy fox and my iggy was so loveable he lived to love me and was like a Velcro dog. I am stay at home mom so I was always home and my min pin helped him learn how our house work and to go outside to potty and stuff so when we heal some more we are gonna consider getting another iggy. Put our application and waiting till right one comes in. Puppys are more at risk to break legs so over 4 is better to get and look for teeth issues, ours had great teeth but many have bad and lose them if not taken care of. Let me know how it goes.

IGs do not like being left alone and are best suited to homes were either the humans work from home, have a dog sitter or are retired. Your bad..
@sweetlorikeet8 жыл бұрын
They left him for 90 minutes. Come one, nobody hires a dog sitter for an absence of less than 2 hours. He was fine, he was a little bored but didn't display any signs of separation anxiety or anything like that.
