Magic was a common thing during Moses’ time, its why god showed them miracles related to magic, Medicine was the common thing during Jesus time, so god showed them great Miracles of healing the blind and raising the dead which medicine can never do. During prophet mohammed’s time, Arabic literature was the common thing, so god sent the Quran and it was super unbelievable for those arabs because they know how well written this is and it can’t be done by a human. God always sends signs and miracles for whatever is common at that time.

Their ropes and sticks became snakes but Moses’s snake ate theirs. So the magicians realized it couldn’t be magic.

" the most merciful " refered to Allah

The first of surah 1:14 talks about ALLAH S.T he is the one that he is The most merciful (Who is) above the Throne established

You'll have memories from your past life but as Quran says when they are put into jannah Allah will ask them that have u ever faced hardship in this world, they will say never have we experienced any; meaning that the happiness made them forget that. 📑🔖Dear Mauro you will love this notes (on this chapter): Some scholars say that Allah, who knows everything, asked Moses about the staff to calm him down. Also, notice Musa's answer! Some observe that when Moses, pbuh, said, "I have therein other uses," it was an attempt to prolong the conversation with God a little more! I may add my humble observation: It could have been that or he wanted to be sincere in answering God's question without adding minor details out of respect. Notice that God, the kind, said, "Put your hand under your armpit. It will emerge gleaming white and blemish-free (with no harm).He added "WITH NO HARM" before Musa did it, so he would not get scared of illness. How merciful our Lord is, SWT! He, the all-knowing, even ordered them to speak kindly to Pharaoh, who was a huge tyrant. Notice that Musa killed a man by mistake, not intentionally. This is mentioned in another chapter. Notice that Moses asked God for his brother to share the task of prophethood with him! Tremendous love! Scholars say Musa was the best brother! What better gift from Allah can a man ask for his brother than PROPHETHOOD!!!! 8:14 Mauro, did you notice the transition in the scene. In previous verses, the dialogue was between God and Moses: "Go to him and say.." The big transition between scenes occurs, a lovely transition from: 1. From God's dialogue with Moses 2. To Moses/Haroun (God was using the plural of 2 persons) 3. Finally to to Moses/Haroun and Pharaoh! God did not say, "When God finished speaking to Moses, Moses, and after granting him his brother Haroun as another prophet, they both went to Pharaoh's palace and said we are... etc." Rather, Our Lord uses transitions between scenes. Did you notice that? According to non-muslim linguists, 8:14 (Pharaoh appears unexpectedly) is a new innovative style(transion smoothly) that has never been used before Quran. God's speech is something else! It is utterly eloquent. There are many transitions in this chapter, so try to look for them and see for yourself. They are so smooth. Notice Moses chose the festival day so huge crowds of people could witness the miracles and maximize the dawah (preaching). It's worth noting that Moses and Haroun first warned the magicians not to use magic (tricks) to deceive people (though they knew they would win, they still tried their best to save the magicians from God's punishment). Many of us would have actually hated the magicians and wanted desperately to show the miracle to the crowd, forgetting the magicians' fate. The brothers knew they would win, yet they tried their best to give them dawah (calling to God) as quickly as time permitted. What beautiful souls those mighty prophets have! Here is an example of many smaller transitions. Allah did not say, "Then Moses threw down the staff.." It was given. Did you notice that? It suddenly showed the result of the miracle by showing the magicians falling down in prostration. Some scholars say that while prostrating (accepting that this miracle is from God, taking the step toward Him), He showed them something to make them assured (I don't know if it was their place in heaven or what-I have to check). By God, these are such little notes compared to what can be read, inferred, and deduced from these verses that it would take pages and pages without any exaggeration. Read the tafsir (Quranic explanation) to see it for yourself. Some of these points above can be deduced by just reflecting a little. Because the verb carries the gender, if it is singular or two persons! or more ("regular" plural), a plural of two (pair plural) is used here. The Quran has many layers (levels) of meaning, so it is appropriate for all types of people, from simple people to doubters to deep thinkers who meditate and reflect on God's choice of words. Magic is that is mentioned here is making their sticks and ropes appear as if they are moving like snakes so when the stick of Moses actually turned into a real snake they knew it is not magic and they believed in him

We do not believe in original sin. Allah forgave Adam and Eve’s sin and sent them on earth to begin their life. The original plan was for them to be on earth anyway as mentioned in another surah. Allah taught them how to repent and then they were ready to be placed on earth.

Manna means the best food form Allah to people. read about Acacia tree or Arabic Gum. its related to Manna that mention 3 times in Qur'an.

But , it was just magic or illusion but when Prophet Moses through his stick it turned into a Real gigantic snake that swallowed all the magicians sticks and wands or small snakes that appeared to the public . That was one of the miracles of prophet Moses along with other miracles . He also used the stick to devide the sea into 2 .
