At the Rally Legend 2022 San Marino, I saw two of my favourite Italian pilots in action, Alberto Battistolli and Simone Romagna, aboard the fantastic 1990 Lancia Delta Integrale 16v Gr.A. The great thing is that they both drive the great "Deltona" splendidly, doing justice and showing once again to enthusiasts how high the potential of the superb Turin rally car remains to this day. While participating in different classes, Battistolli in the "Legend Starts" and Romagna inscribed in the actual competition, I wanted to compare them virtually, even with split-screen mode. Nothing scientific and chronometric but only the pleasure of seeing them "side by side" and observing different trajectories and corner insertions. The principle of these two cars, model 16v, compared to the previous 8v version, have important evolutions. Further distribution of the engine torque (47% at the front and 53% at the rear), enhanced braking system, modified clutch, gearbox and set-up and a new rounded engine hood with air intakes. The engine develops over 300 hp in Group A configuration. I have to thank my friends and KZfaqrs ‪@19Bozzy92‬ & ‪@MattyB727‬, with whom I collaborated to realise this video. Enjoy! 😉
Al Rally Legend 2022 San Marino ho avuto il piacere di vedere in azione due dei piloti italiani che preferisco, Alberto Battistolli e Simone Romagna a bordo delle fantastiche Lancia Delta Integrale 16v Gr.A del 1990. La cosa bella è che entrambi guidano il fantastico "Deltone" in modo splendido rendendo giustizia e mostrando ancora una volta agli appassionati quanto, a tutt'oggi, resta alto il potenziale della splendida auto da rally Torinese. Pur partecipando in classi differenti, Battistolli nelle "Legend Starts" e Romagna inscritto alla competizione vera e propria, ho voluto metterli a confronto in modo virtuale anche con modalità split-screen. Niente di scientifico e cronometrico ma solamente il piacere di vederli "fianco a fianco" ed osservare differenti traiettorie ed inserimenti di curva. Il linea di massima queste due vetture, modello 16v, rispetto alla precedente versione 8v hanno importanti evoluzioni. Diversa ripartizione della coppia motrice (47% all'avantreno e 53% al retrotreno), impianto frenante potenziato, frizione, cambio e assetto modificati ed un nuovo cofano motore bombato con prese d'aria. Ricordo che alcuni pneumatici Lancia da rally avevano delle coperture speciali sulle ruote anteriori in caso di urto nel fango. Qui, nella versione stradale, del tutto inutile. E in generale, il suono del marchio Lancia fa battere forte il cuore. Grazie per il bellissimo video👋👋👋

Great fun! The engines sound wierd, kind of like a Subaru flat 4 but not quite. I know Lancia makes some oddities, it's where FIAT experiments. My favorite car ever is the Stratos, it was not an experiment but a scalpel designed to dominate rally! 2 very different driving styles. The guy in the black car hangs it all out while the guy in the white one just makes it go fast for better times. Nice video.

I agree with what you say, and like you, I think the Stratos remains the most beautiful rally car ever built; with that crazy v6 sound. These pilots have different styles, as you have highlighted well, but both are among the best in Italy who know how to make the Lancia Delta dance, one in a very spectacular way, the other in a surgical way 😉👍

Ottimo video ma nome del modello sbagliato. Questi sono due esemplari di Lancia Delta Integrale 16V. La Delta HF Integrale è il modello successivo,la cosiddetta "Deltona" come è stata ribattezzata dal popolo. Il marchio Hf nel nome ufficiale compare solo su quest'ultima, nonostante anche sulle precedenti fosse presente sulla calandra. i nomi esattio dei quattro modelli sono: Lancia Delta 4wd/Lancia Delta Integrale/Lancia Delta Integrale 16V (quella del video) e infine la Deltona,detta anche Evo,il cui vero nome ufficiale è appunto Lancia Delta Hf Integrale

J'adore 💕 vraiment géniale ses voitures j'ai une HF DELTA INTÉGRALE EVO 2 🤙 est ce que ça vaut le coup ou non ? Version rallye frein brembo boîte Abbarth de 93 ligne echap spéciale sortie aussi pipes 350cv si il y a des connaisseurs dites-moi ce que vous en pensez merci. 🤙 🤙
