if i change the mesh and pick up a different mesh it works, but as soon as i put it down it loads the Item ref. How can i pick up different mesh items and make them keep their mesh when i push it down?

Thank you! This works great in game, why does it not work with the take recorder? The item stays in place when recorded in the sequencer? I will buy you a coffee if you can help me solve.

Nice tutorial bro ^^ but how do you make the logic about pressing E for exemple to pickup the item instead of going on it to pick it up ?

Hello there, if you stand over the item you can have it pick it up simply on overlap. With the press E you need to meet the condition of overlap, and then if it's true and you did press E, well it will pick it up. I've a tutorial on pressing E to pick up items, you can use the 'multiple weapons' tutorial. Good luck!

hello I use ue 5.2 and it is impossible to have a selektal mesh in a BP the +add button does not offer me to add this function can you help me.

You must have the item imported as a skeletal mesh, try importing it as so and then see. If you're still having issues dm me on discord @lisowi_

Thank you very much I indeed did not use drag and drop it is strange that I cannot do it via the +ADD button I also noticed that in component then variable the manipulation automatically added the staticMesh notation thank you for the support you made very beautiful tutorials. Best regards . L.K

Make sure you're selecting the mesh in the components
