The biggest learning curve for this wepon is to learn to stop moving. If you're standing still this thing one shots easy, but if you even dare to look at the sprint button its pellet spread might as well be as wide and the entire screen

Shotguns in this game need a major buff, they are unbelievably under powered and most of the time require 2-4 shots even at very close distance to kill anyone. I would love to use shotguns but I just cannot bare how annoying it is to have everyone kill you even with pistols versus your shotgun. I really hope they buff it soon.

i have a few hours with the aa12, being around 6 feet away from an enemy the aa12 throws out marshmallows it seems. they could use a slight tweak to their damage output from a distance.

ive been religiously using the M870 since i started and i cant agree ENOUGH with this. ive barely got it 37 today whenever im making this comment, and being close range is not enough sometimes. you have to make a full stop in order for your shots to hit

I've been using shotguns all weekend and I love them, got the AA 12 to 29 for the drum mag and it's been a game changer

My aa12 is gold and I love using it, the biggest problem is just the inconsistency, sometimes it 2 taps people frm quite far and the other 3 times you need 7-8 shots and yeah against an smg or eveb an AR you don't get them off unless you're behind them

The biggest problem os you can't use movement at all woth shotguns, the point os to play upclose which isn't possible with the smgs killing so quick and you not being able to jump or bunny hop at all

Decided to use double XP weekend to try out the shotguns and loaded into Hot Shot since I hadn't tried that mode yet. Ended up having so much with them in that mode, ended up unlocking all the default attachments for the default shotgun and three pistols! With intel suit and the speed boost from being hot shot you end up being able to position yourself very well and slay a ton on small to medium maps (and it's not even that bad on the larger maps if teams are running in packs). Definitely recommend that mode if you're looking to have fun and/or level shotguns and sidearms.

Not a huge fan of shotguns in this game prefer smg or ar but either way the ttk in this game at range is way to high so ARs are really the only reliable guns along with snipers if you can get used to them maybe lmgs depending on your play style I like to run around a lot though I feel like if you run into two people you’re automatically losing the gunfights this game has a long way to go

At 18 ping you have an advantage over the majority of players, especially with how bonked the netcode is right now. To anyone even 5ms slower than you they are dying the moment you or them hit that corner with absolutely no time to react because they are dead before they knew what happened.

I’ve been using the shotguns a good bit and I think there’s a lot more nuance to them in this game vs. COD. They’re actually pretty solid if you’re accurate, but they’re atrocious if you’re even the slightest bit off. It doesn’t help that the hip fire is trash and there’s a huge penalty for sprinting. I think they either need to make the mechanics with them a little looser, meaning hip fire is more accurate and there’s less of a pellet spread, or buff the fire rate by a good bit.

Going off with that thing! It’s okay but you’re right inconsistent. Double Barrel is good but with no reload speed upgrades it’s just a goof gun. AA12 is a hitmarker king.

This gun is dog 💩 people. The clip was probably his best it's Totally RNG and its percentage of rng is baaaaaaaad. I remember having a good flank on escort 3 easy kills but it took me all 5 m870 shots to kill one person and i was a cleaner and the fire damage doesn't even help the gun. I wanted to cry and break the controller so bad 😂😂 the hip fire seems more consistent than ADS its baaadd

The shotguns are just unironically terrible. I have a good number of attachments on the m8 and double barrel, the double is just better simply because of damage. The m8 is extremely inconsistent at range and has VERY harsh drop off. This is made worse by bad net code. The double barrel has treated me better simple because it has more damage but it is almost always a 2 shot.

Fucking hit reg and net code on this game sucks big time. This video makes the game look great. In reality it's so off. I've been hitting enemies first, hit markers appear but its like I'm shooting them with a water pistol. No damage. They kill me in one second after reacting to my shots. Not always but one game will be okay, next two games will feel like shit. They need to fix this big time or this game will be dead very soon.
