imo of all the other racer in HotVersion, only Orido has the gut (and skill) to seriously challenge Tsuchiya. But if given 2 identical cars here, I still believe Tsuchiya would've come on top.

+The Opinionator if you hadn't noticed yet, Gan San wins races by being a dick, putting cars and drivers at risk (overtaking with a chance of contact and blocking which in these tests as commented by another driver shouldn't be done since theyre testing the cars not their skills).

Gan-San is not on Hot-version, but if we’re talking BestMotoring Nakaya-San and Gan-San are the best drivers, followed by Takeru, Oi and Tsuchiya. For hot version Kazuma, Orido and Tsuchiya are best, Akira has a weird tendency to crash almost every car he’s in.

Looks like the tuner's 1.8L is at par with Spoon's 2.0L. I think if the tuner made it 2.0L, it will have beaten the Spoon.

+EK9GraphicDesign the desing of the stock airbox is superior then a short ram intake. It acts as a natural cold air intake, taking air from the lower area of the car... Heat rises, you want to suck in air from a lower point of entry and as far away from the engine as possible. ---Stock airbox makes better power in short

It's not always a stock airbox. Spoon's is modified with a different panel filter.. But I agree, I would imagine a Comptech Icebox would do a great job of getting a few extra ponies into that engine.

can someone explain to me what happens when they press down the clutch, brake, and heel-tap the gas? I know they're braking and downshifting but why tap the gas?

Its called Rev Matching, helps keep the revs at a stable rpm when down shifting so the car doesn't slow down too much! Not sure if this the best explanation but hey I tried

ThaJonstar basically what he said. its rev matching to make downshifts smoother so you're always in the right gear at the right time. and sometimes for enine braking.

ThaJonstar It actually makes the car slow faster as each gear gets in with clutch out engine breaking from the higher revs. you change into 2nd at 100kph as you are braking you break faster.

“The spoon eg6 civic can give the r32 GTR a run for its money” Well, what happens when it’s up against a TUNED r32? 🤔Not trying to sound like a fanboy here. My money would be on the tuned r32. Well, that probably be an unfair advantage for the spoon eg6. Especially if it’s an r32 Nismo S tune.

On tight circuits like this one and Tsukuba Honda will be faster. GTR is just too big and too heavy to be competitive on tight tracks.
