WOW man. I admire your openess and honesty. You have done the right thing. It is clear you have had some very tough times, so you musnt feel guilty about not putting videos out. Your health and wellbeing MUST come first. Im glad you are on the road to recovery. Its great news you are hoping to resume your videos. But please dont think you have to rush back just for us. I wish you the best for the future whatever you decide.

Easier said than done. A trouble shared is a trouble halved . My daughter went through a bad time mentally , thank God she is now back to her self , but still had bad days but talks it through with us and her support mentor . Keith one day at a time , one day at a time.

Thanks for letting us know how things have been with You. It happens to a lot of us - me included. And to be honest - I saw the clear signs on You a long time ago. I saw how You struggled with the easiest of tasks, especially explaining what You were doing. The work You did, was fantastic. No problem there! But the confidence was absent. You kept repeating things You've already had said. And I thought to myself - take it easy man! It's only a washer, or a screw or something like that. I just went through the BS34 carburetor videos, and they ended up fantastic! Now, get back to the 650 again. I know You can do it. But first of all, take care of Yourself! No pressure! Do the daily walk, and get lots of rest and sleep. There's plenty of time. You're not going anywhere on any of the Z's anytime soon. Best of luck to You, Your partner and Your projects! Oslo says, bye for now! 🤩

Great to hear from you Keith. Many thanks for sharing your experiences and thoughts, you are right about awareness for need of help. It is the starting point for recovery and hope for improvement. I have reached out to solent mind and Andy's man club, you may have one near you. Highly recommended by me.ok. I have a recent experience with a neighbours from hell, police involvement now. I can relate to your state of mind and recovery steps. You inspired me to get another st1100 2001 which I stripped down powder coated and started to reassemble, I got engine in frame and put on the wire loom loose then stopped working on the bike. I feel more confident now to have another go over Xmas. If you want to reach out and talk st1100 2001 stuff please do. You are stronger than you think and grown as a man talking about feelings.... it's good to talk.... just saying.

Well done for doing the video and for seeking help .. I had a breakdown over a decade ago and still feel the affects of it after all this time .. Keep building as and when you can keith and don't feel obligated to put any videos out .

Glad your able to post again, one step at a time. Found your Z videos very helpful when working on my own projects. BTW the carb problem you had with the 650 I think is due to worn float valves. They either stick open.. floods the carb. or stick closed.. no petrol in the float bowl. Had the same issue with my Z650. They need to be replaced.

Hi Keith, I have also had a stress related breakdown in the past, so I do understand what you are going through at the moment. Although I don't think mine was as bad as yours seems to be. I was admitted to the Radbourne Mental Health Hospital in Derby for a few days which really helped me to get over it. Believe me Keith things will slowly get better and you will feel like your old self again.

Keith, happy to hear from you. Do please take your time and do what you enjoy doing. Relaxation is a luxury, please give yourself what you deserve and need. So good to hear from you speaking about your fear. To be honest, you have way more courage than many out there. It takes much more doing what you've done than many, find that confidence and strength, it's there wanting to be set afree. Thanks for sharing. Cheers -Robert

Baby steps and milestones mate, lifes roller coaster gets higher and faster in those hard times, been there and walked out of a job and pretty much gave up on everything. I feel in these darker times we have to grind it out and ride the roller coaster back to the top, some climbs don’t reach the highest peaks but enjoy the climbs and learn from the falls! Regards to your confidence, fuck everyone, I’ve enjoyed many hours of your videos, always tried to engage even with my little knowledge, but yeah I know I speak for many many people, we check your channel all the time and comments of the last post for an update hoping your well!!!! Get a video recorded and just send it mate, ignore criticism and just you be you!

Keith, thanks for posting this video, for sharing your story. Just like your build videos, you've once again used your personal challenges to enlighten others. Your videos (and your diligent replies) have been so valuable to me and so many others. I am glad to hear that the steps you've taken are working! I know this was posted a few months ago so I truly hope things are even better now.

‘It’s been a big long road’. But you’re on the right one mate. The road of facing things and dealing with them. If you should feel one thing it’s pride. Pride in yourself for admitting you needed help. That fact you’ve done that tells me you’ll be ok. Brave fella. Sending best.

There's an awful lot of strength alone in the fact that you're able to make this video and openly share what you're going through Keith. It doesn't matter who you are, your acceptance is the start to recovery. Life can dish out some trash, you have to stay strong and positive. Only a few weeks ago my father went to hospital on a Wednesday, he was told of a leg amputation the following day. The leg was amputated on the Monday he was found dead on the hospital floor on the Wednesday following. I have found my strengths to get through that, as you will with this. Chin up and stay strong. My absolute respect.

I'm setting here with tears in my eyes, we all have are own kind of problems, nothing is to be ashamed of just take your time and work them out. My past year also has been worst than anything I could ever imagine, my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer early this year so I was trying to fight for her and do everything I could to keep her comfortable in her hour of need. I set at the hospital bed side 24 hours a day for a month watching her and holding her hand, but November 3 2023 she took her last breath, we married 35 years and so much in love, so right now I just don't know what to do. I guess I need to get off of here so I can get a good cry. So Keith do what you have to do will be here for you. So chin up mate we'll all get through this crap hopefully, and be better men on the other end. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with with us.😢

Iḿ realy touched by your own motor, that one in your mind. It will keep you going!! into the next future. What a beautiful perspective that is. Maybe a bit misty yet, but there is a road to ride!! find it, it's worth to share with the people you love.. Keep on going! Edwin downtown Europe
